20 Awesome St. Patrick’s Day Activities for Your Classroom

1. Shamrock Crafts: Encourage creativity by having students make shamrock crafts using green construction paper and art supplies.

2. Leprechaun Traps: Engage students in engineering and critical thinking by having them design and build leprechaun traps using recycled materials.

3. Irish Storytelling: Introduce students to Irish folklore and traditions by reading and discussing Irish myths and legends.

4. Green Science Experiments: Conduct exciting science experiments with a St. Patrick’s Day twist, such as exploring the properties of green slime or creating rainbow eruptions.

5. Patrick’s Day Bingo: Play a fun game of St. Patrick’s Day-themed bingo to reinforce vocabulary and listening skills.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
