Freckle Education– Students can easily fall in love with schooling again as this app enables them to work in various subjects at their pace. Teachers can monitor students’ progress across various subjects such as science, social studies, math, and English language arts.

Study Island – Study Island is an all-in-one practice website for students to work on literacy, math, science, and social studies skills. It is built specifically around state standards, so regardless of your school’s location, you can rest assured that the content and practice provided on the website will align with your classroom teaching. Study Island is a great tool to use for high stakes testing preparation and provides real-time progress monitoring for teachers and parents. Beyond simple practice, Study Island can also be incorporated into classroom lessons for formative assessment and differentiation. It even allows teachers to import NWEA MAP assessment information for individual students and calculates a targeted learning path to fill in knowledge gaps!

IXL Learning– IXL Learning has been proven to be effective in providing comprehensive, curriculum-based math and English language arts content for kindergarten to grade 12. It also provides an immersive learning experience in science, math, language arts, and social studies for K-12. Speed Reading– This app can help you become a proficient reader in the English language while eliminating old habits that hold you back. With 7 Speed Reading, students can learn to recognize large clusters of words and read without first vocalizing in their heads.

Banyan – Banyan is an engine built to influence human learning through machine capabilities by providing an insightful, personalized learning experience. It has three modules that help you advertise and hire skilled talents and provide customized learning experiences and workflow management courses, respectively.

BrandLX – BrandLX is a mobile-first cloud learning management system that provides personalized learning materials to users on their devices. It also offers online certifications, product training, and consumer enlightenment. It is a single platform providing multiple services; hence, users save money and resources.

OttoLearn Microlearning – This app delivers mobile-friendly training that allows for easy tracking of performance and achievements. OttoLearn Microlearning features adaptive training, which allows each user to set the parameters for subsequent training to match the student’s performance. It provides users with engaging daily activities to sharpen their skills.

Cerego – Cerego is a personalized learning platform that helps people learn faster, remember longer, and objectively measure their knowledge using AI-assisted predictive algorithms. It helps organizations improve productivity as employees learn better and are better motivated and more capable. The app uses predictive learning features to deliver individual-specific learning materials to its users. Available on Android and iOS devices

Flipick – This app creates a personalized learning experience for every student and helps to develop curricula. It also creates an interactive and collaborative learning environment for learning to take place.

Kytabu – A textbook subscription app developed in Kenya. The app provides access to digitized versions of all Kenyan textbooks from Standard 1 to Form 4 at rates that are affordable for African families. Kytabu uses machine learning to help provide personalized learning for learners. The learners can access educational content that includes books, videos, audios, tests, as well as exams. A great advantage of the app is that it can be used offline. This is a crucial issue in Africa where internet access is limited and often unreliable.

HippoCampus– HippoCampus.org was designed as part of a worldwide effort to improve access to quality education for everyone. It contains presentations and lectures that can serve as supplemental instruction. Teachers project HippoCampus content during classroom learning and assign it for computer labs and homework. Students use the site in the evenings for study and exam prep as an open resource for personalized learning

LoudCloud – LoudCloud uses cloud-based technology to provide a class management system, assessments, a course builder, a grade book, and many more features aimed at improving the learning process. With this platform, colleges and universities can make use of personalized learning to support their students. Tools include the competency learning platform, learning analytics, and OER courseware.

MATHiaU– MATHiaU is math learning software is offered by Carnegie Learning. It provides college-level math assistance, including one-on-one tutoring. With this app, students take thorough assessments and are given feedback that includes a personalized learning path. MATHiaU provides affordable, easy-to-use artificial intelligence-based tutoring.

Mindprint Learning– Penn Medicine’s lab on Brain Behavior developed a website that will give any student of any age a personalized learning profile. Mindprint Learning consists of a cognitive test of over 10 skills for a student to complete. The test is then evaluated to generate feedback and tools that will best help that student learn. The test is only one hour long and covers executive functions, complex reasoning, memory, and speed. This can be used for school districts or for homeschools.

Moodle – Module is a free, open-source learning platform designed for educators, administrators, and learners. The system uses a robust, integrated, and secure platform to helps its users create personalized learning environments. The software can be downloaded onto the user’s web server.

Odysseyware– The Odysseyware Learning Management System is a platform that offers information and support to teachers, students, administrators, teachers, and guardians. It provides personalized learning through a variety of customization tools, and it monitors student progress and gears them toward success. It also allows learners to become active participants in their quest for success, grow to their maximum potential, and discover how they can add value to the world around them.

Owl School – Owl School is a platform that aims to help your company create a personalized learning structure and create more revenue by selling courses to customers and partners. It can also be used to organize training to help develop employees and gain better efficiency.

Recruit – This app helps to design career paths and create personalized learning experiences. The platform helps to bring students, parents, and teachers together. Recruit also generates useful reports to influence decision-making.

Reflex– This app offers a potent, adaptive, individualized solution to help a student increase their fluency in math facts, and it includes powerful reporting capability. It is easy to use for educators to use, and it helps them monitor each student’s performance to create the optimal experience for every child.

Zoomi – With Zoomi, the one-size-fits-all corporate training is thrown out the window to make room for each individual learner’s style. About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
