Freckle Education– Learners can easily fall in love with schooling again as this product enables them to work on different studies at their pace. Educators can monitor learners’ progress across different studies such as science, social studies, math, and English language arts.

IXL Learning– IXL Learning has been proven effective in offering a comprehensive program of study-based math and English language arts content for kindergarten to grade 12.  It produces real results, which is why it is trusted by top educators and presently utilized by The Elite 100.

LearnZIllion– LearnZillion is a comprehensive program of study for math, English, and language arts. It contains resources, analytics, and teaching guides. Individual educators may use it for free, but a membership fee is required if the product is deployed across a school district. Not only does this product include learning material, but it also offers complimentary and supplemental resources such as videos to supplement the learning experience.

Redbird Language Arts & Writing – Redbird Language Arts & Writing provides learners in grades 2-7 with a personalized language arts and writing learning path by leveraging adaptive instruction and practice. This enables the product to deliver precisely what each learner needs to become a fluent writer and master communicator. Each grade level of material contains 9–10 units that focus on a writing or reading skill. The architecture of each lesson was developed to provide learners with instruction and practice on reading, parts of speech, paragraph analysis, sentence composition, and sentence structures. All lessons cover new concepts or provide practice with concepts that have already been introduced. In our highly competitive economy, employers seek candidates that have strong written communication abilities. Although educators know that mastering language arts and writing is important for future success in university and the workplace, many learners across K-12 struggle with acquiring these vital abilities.

RoomRecess – RoomRecess is a free learning game product in which learners can simply load a game activity and have fun while learning. It is committed to offering kids important abilities that are vital to elementary learners and their educational process. This game product was developed by primary school educators committed to fundamental education in math, reading, spelling, language arts, and fundamental problem-solving.

StudySync – StudySync offers a comprehensive, tech-driven English Language Arts program of study for grades 6-12. The program of study incorporates reading and writing with embedded skill lessons to build basic knowledge and enhance critical thinking, comprehension, and inquiry abilities. Educators can use StudySync as a comprehensive digital program of study or turn to the printable options.

Study Island– Study Island is an all-in-one practice website for learners to work on literacy, math, science, and social studies abilities. It is built around state standards, so the content and practice provided on the website will align with your class teaching regardless of location. Study Island is a great tool for high stakes testing preparation and provides real-time progress monitoring for educators and guardians. Beyond simple practice, Study Island can also be incorporated into class lessons for formative assessment and differentiation. It even enables educators to import NWEA MAP assessment information for individual learners and calculates a targeted learning path to fill in knowledge gaps!

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
