To make an informed decision, you have to consider a lot of variables, such as cost of attendance, financial aid, student-teacher ratio, academics, student life, and more. These factors will either positively or negatively impact the quality of education that you receive.

Well, if you are as ambitious as I was in my late teens, then you want to attend a top school, instead of an average or mediocre one. Fortunately, we have already done the legwork for you. To help you find the right school for your interests and goals, we’ve compiled a list of 2022’s best bachelor’s in MIS programs.

1. East Carolina University, Greenville, NC

East Carolina University gives learners a chance to earn an online bachelor’s in management information systems through its distance education department. The BS in business administration offers a concentration in management information systems with a 120-hour degree program. The curriculum includes 36 hours in business classes, such as accounting, finance, and strategic management. At the same time, the concentration offers an in-depth study of database management, software engineering, and information systems.

A cooperative education course enables learners to augment their education with hands-on work. ECU also requires learners to finish a nine-hour sequence in professional development and leadership, which consists of a leadership capstone course that brings their undergraduate experience together in a hands-on project. Learners also finish a portfolio that showcases projects and expertise, which they can use when seeking employment.

2. Keiser University, Fort Lauderdale, FL

Keiser University teaches learners business and technology skills in its online bachelor’s (BS) in management information systems. The BS in MIS requires 126 credits, all of which can be finished remotely through Keiser’s online learning degree program. The curriculum includes classes in accounting and human resources, with 65 credit hours dedicated to management information systems. Learners also finish hands-on learning activities with community organizations. Learners enjoy an accelerated class format that enables them to finish one class every four weeks. The Blackboard online learning platform offers around-the-clock access to course materials, giving learners flexibility in achieving their academic goals. 11. Viterbo University, La Crosse, WI

Viterbo University incorporates information management and business classes into an online bachelor’s in MIS. The adaptable online format and accelerated class schedule make the degree perfect for people with an associate degree and experience in information technology. Project management and business information make up the core curriculum of the degree plan, which includes ethical leadership, managerial finance, and systems analysis. Learners who have earned an associate degree need only finish an additional 60 credits.
