Gallaudet University is a private university for the deaf and hard of hearing. GU has small class sizes and a student/faculty ratio of 6 to 1, allowing students to receive personalized learning experiences. The institution has 29 undergraduate and 20 graduate degree programs, all of which were created to accommodate the needs of the hard of hearing and deaf. Outside of the classroom, students will find plenty of opportunities to engage with the campus community via the university’s many clubs and organizations.
