The front entrance of a school plays a crucial role in making a positive first impression. An inviting and visually appealing display can create a welcoming atmosphere for students, parents, and visitors. Here are 15 perfect displays that can enhance your school’s front entrance:

1. Inspiration Wall: Create a wall of motivational quotes, success stories, and inspiring images to uplift everyone who enters the school.

2. Interactive Art Installation: Install a touchscreen display where visitors can engage with interactive art, educational games, or information about the school.

3. Digital Bulletin Board: Replace traditional bulletin boards with digital screens that display important announcements, upcoming events, and achievements.

4. Student Art Gallery: Showcase the artistic talents of students by setting up a rotating gallery space where their artwork can be exhibited.

5. School History Timeline: Tell the story of your school’s journey by creating a timeline display that highlights significant milestones, achievements, and influential figures.

6. Green Wall: Install a vertical garden or a living wall to bring nature indoors and create a refreshing and eco-friendly display.

7. Welcome Video Wall: Set up a video wall that plays a compilation of warm greetings and messages from students, staff, and alumni.

8. Science and Technology Showcase: Display science projects, innovative gadgets, and technological advancements to spark curiosity and interest in STEM subjects.

9. Sensory Wall: Create a tactile wall with different textures, materials, and interactive elements to engage the senses and promote sensory integration.

10. Book Nook: Set up a cozy reading corner with shelves of books and comfortable seating to encourage a love for reading in students and visitors.

11. Cultural Diversity Display: Celebrate the diversity of your school community by creating a display that showcases different cultures, traditions, and languages.

12. Sports Hall of Fame: Honor outstanding athletes and their achievements by creating a dedicated wall or display for showcasing their accomplishments.

13. Inspirational Student Quotes: Share empowering quotes from students across different grade levels to inspire and uplift the school community.

14. Community Partners Wall: Recognize local businesses, organizations, and individuals who support your school by displaying their logos or names on a dedicated wall.

15. Technology Integration Showcase: Display innovative classroom technologies, such as virtual reality headsets, coding kits, and robotics, to demonstrate your commitment to modern education.

Remember, the perfect display for your school’s front entrance depends on your school’s values, culture, and available resources. Choose displays that reflect your school’s identity and create a positive impact on everyone who walks through the front doors.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
