Ouachita Baptist University is a private Baptist college situated in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Students are supported by a 12 to 1 student/faculty ratio, and professors take a personalized approach to the teaching and learning process. The institution has a large selection of undergraduate and graduate degree programs for students to choose from. Outside of the classroom, students will find plenty of opportunities to engage with the campus community via many clubs and organizations. The Ouachita Tigers play in the NCAA Division II Great American Conference.

Overview of Ouachita Baptist University Admissions

With an acceptance rate of 64% in 2019, Ouachita Baptist University is neither highly selective nor open to all applicants. Students whose SAT/ACT scores and GPA are within the institution’s requirements have a good chance of being admitted. Applicants must complete an online application and send test scores from either the SAT or ACT and high school transcripts. About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
