OPSU is a small, four-year, public institution whose 1,400 students are backed by a student/faculty ratio of 15 to 1. The institution has a large selection of undergraduate and graduate degree programs for students to choose from, and professors take a personalized approach to the teaching and learning process. Outside of the classroom, students will find plenty of opportunities to engage with the campus community via many clubs and organizations. OPSU plays in the NCAA Division II Heartland Conference for ten intercollegiate sports.

Overview of Oklahoma Panhandle State University Admissions

OPSU has open admissions, meaning any individual who meets the admissions requirements can study at the school. It has a robust admissions process that involves a multitude of academic measures. Applicants must complete an online application. About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
