How to Track a Cell Phone Location for Free

By Matthew Lynch

Is it possible to trace a cell phone’s position solely based on its number? There are only two legal ways to do so:

you can use a phone search service to locate any phone in a general region or a reverse phone lookup service to locate any phone in a specific area.

The phone and its number can be traced using a phone spying app. The first method is restricted in its application. You won’t be able to establish the specific location of the phone user. While you may locate someone’s location for free by typing in their phone number, it does not store their movement history.

A spy app is used in a second way. This is a far more dependable alternative because it uses the phone’s built-in GPS to track it accurately. Furthermore, a few of these applications and SIM card monitors have provided internet position information.

This article will show you how to follow a smartphone using various espionage apps. This procedure is dependable, efficient, and straightforward.

Part 1: Can I Track the Location of a Cell Phone

Spyic is the first solution that demonstrates how to locate someone using their cell phone number. With over a million downloads worldwide, this is a user-tested solution. The software is primarily used by parents who want to keep a watch on their children.

After you’ve set up Spyic, you’ll be able to track the target phone’s location using your web browser. You will be informed regularly. The software also features a stealth mode if you wish to watch the phone in secret.

Spyic may be used on both Android and iOS devices. The software comes with several useful features and is simple to set up.

1.1 Spyic-The Best App to Track A Cell Phone Location for Free

With Spyic for Android and iOS, you receive some useful tracking options. You can use the browser-based interface to follow the device in near real-time, monitor the SIM, and geofence it:

  • Track locations: You’ll be able to track people’s whereabouts in real time. All of the sites are represented as pins on a virtual map. A new pin emerges whenever the gadget is registered at a new location.
  • Access a location log: A location log keeps track of crucial information. Location addresses, street names, neighborhood information, and the city can be found. You can also utilize geographic coordinates.
  • Use Google Maps: Spyic is also compatible with Google Maps. You may utilize Google Maps tools to get more information about any area and 3D Street View to get a closer look.

A network-based location is provided via the SIM card tracker. It’s essentially a number-based tracking system for cell phones:

Track SIM card details: With Spyic, you can track SIM card details such as the IMEI number and network operator. You can even receive an alert if the owner’s phone number changes.

  • Track SIM card areas: When a SIM card is inserted into a cellphone, it is tracked by the mobile carrier. The SIM card monitor from Spyic can provide you with this information.

You can use the geo fence capability to establish and track a designated area on a map:

  • Keep an eye on locations: A geofence perimeter is a demarcated zone on a map. With the geofence, you may construct a perimeter around essential facilities such as schools, companies, and homes.
  •  Find entry and exit times: You’ll receive notifications whenever the device enters or exits the marked zone. This allows you to keep an eye on someone for a long time.

1.2 How Can I Track A Phone Location for Free

To track the target phone, you’ll need to download Spyic. If you wish to track Android devices, you can do so by downloading and installing Spyic. Spyic can be installed without software if you’re tracking an iPhone or iPad.

Spyic is simple to set up and just takes a few minutes. You can do it with any web browser on your PC or smartphone.

You can only install the program after creating a Spyic official account. Following that, you will receive setup instructions in your mailbox.

It only takes a few minutes to set up the app. Spyic is a simple 2MB app for Android phones. As a software download, it must be manually loaded on the target device.

Spyic is an internet software for iOS. It requires the user’s iCloud credentials for the software to connect to the accounts and extract information.

The application can be viewed via any web browser after the installation is complete. The software may track your whereabouts in real time.

1.3 Spyic offers some advantages

We prefer Spyic over other options because it is a comprehensive solution:

a. It’s trouble-free to use

You can use your web browser to access the app at any time and from any place. The web-based interface makes tracking the target phone a breeze. You have control over the frequency of updates.

b. You can know a person’s position

Because Spyic is a spy program, it can be hidden. Once installed, the Android version runs discreetly in the background. It is possible to hide the app icon. The iOS version can be accessed remotely without using software, thanks to iCloud backup. As a result, it is undetectable.

c. You don’t pay too much

Spyic can be purchased for a reasonable price. A monthly subscription is about the same price as a DVD. You get a discount if you monitor more devices. In comparison to other apps, it’s a reasonable price.

d. You get additional features

Spyic includes additional capabilities, including a text reader, social media apps tracker, keylogger, web browser history checker, and more as a full-fledged phone surveillance solution. You’ll be capable of retaining track of the consumer’s actions.

e. It provides privacy

Finally, Spyic provides complete privacy. Spyic, unlike most other apps we’ve tried, doesn’t gather or share your personal information. The app is safe to use.

You don’t have to buy the app right away. Before making a purchase, you can try out the demo.

Part 2: How to Type in Phone Number and Find Location Free

Other than Spyic, how can you trace a phone number? Minspy is a decent substitute. Both Android and iOS are supported by the app. It’s simple to set up and has a lot of useful features.

The app was created by a firm that specializes in cybersecurity. It also has a solid reputation in the market.

2.1 Minspy offers good features

With Minspy, you can monitor any device from anywhere: the program can follow the cell using the device’s in-built GPS or WiFi, as well as SIM card surveillance, which includes the phone’s internet position.

With the application, you may keep track of the individual’s cellphone usage overall.

2.2 Using the app is a breeze

Minspy is quite easy to operate:

Minspy does not require rooting or jailbreaking to install or operate; it may be concealed to watch the target device invisibly.

You can use your web browser to track the target phone.

The software offers much more and is an excellent long-term monitoring tool for keeping tabs on someone.

Part 3: How to Track a Cell Phone Location by Number

Finally, Spyine is the third option we have for you. This is a phone tracking and parental control app. The software has a GPS tracker in addition to keeping an eye on someone’s phone. It’s easy to start and utilize the application.

Spyine is compatible with both iOS and Android devices. It’s compatible with Android version 4.0 and higher. Spyine is compatible with all current iOS versions.

3.1 You can track the target phone in real-time

You’ll get location updates regularly:

The SIM card tracker can trace a US-based or any phone number.

With the GPS tracker, you may track the phone’s whereabouts.

With geofence, you can obtain notifications on the target’s movements.

3.2 Spyine allows you to monitor one phone from another

Spyine is an easy-to-use tool that allows you to track any phone using your phone or other web-enabled devices.

The program may be installed in minutes without the need for rooting or a jailbreak.

You get a comprehensive set of phone monitoring tools.

With Spyine, you’ll be able to quietly watch any phone from another if necessary.

Conclusion

This brings us to the end of our tutorial on how to trace a mobile number and its position. Any of the apps we recommended should suffice. You can also simply type in the phone number and use a phone lookup service to identify the location for free, but we don’t advocate this option due to various limitations.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
