Gannon is a private, Catholic, comprehensive university situated in Erie, Pennsylvania. Undergraduates can select from 55 bachelor’s degree programs, and programs in the biological and health STEM are particularly popular. Academics are backed by a 13 to 1 student/faculty ratio. Outside of the classroom, students will find plenty of opportunities to engage with the campus community via the university’s many clubs and organizations. The Gannon Golden Knights play in the NCAA Division II Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) for most sports.

Overview of Gannon University Admissions

At Gannon, admissions are largely accessible; only one-quarter of students were not accepted in 2019. Students whose SAT/ACT scores and GPA are within the institution’s requirements have a good chance of being admitted. Applicants must complete an online application, and send test scores from either the SAT or ACT and high school transcripts. About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
