Fisk University was established for the education of recently freed slaves just months after the end of the Civil War. Fisk is a top-ranked HBCU, and its strengths in the liberal arts and STEM earned the school a chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. The institution has a large selection of undergraduate and graduate degree programs for students to choose from. A robust student/faculty ratio backs students, and professors take a personalized approach to the teaching and learning process.
