Instructional design is a dynamic field, demanding constant adaptation and refinement. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting, there’s always room for improvement. Here are a few tips to help you elevate your practice:

1. Embrace Data-Driven Decision Making: Don’t rely solely on intuition. Leverage data from learner assessments, feedback, and analytics to inform your design decisions. This allows you to identify areas for improvement and tailor your learning experiences to meet specific needs.

2. Stay Informed and Engaged: The world of learning is constantly evolving. Stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and research by subscribing to industry publications, attending conferences, and engaging in online communities. This will keep your design strategies fresh and relevant.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
