St. Cloud State University is a four-year public institution situated in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. St. Cloud State offers over 200 majors, minors, and pre-professional programs, as well as more than 60 graduate degrees. Academics at St. Cloud State are backed by a 20 to 1 student/faculty ratio. Outside of the classroom, students will find plenty of opportunities to engage with the campus community via the university’s more 250 clubs and organizations. On the intercollegiate front, St. Cloud State plays in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) and NCAA Division II Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.

Overview of St. Cloud State University Admissions

In 2019, SCSU had an acceptance rate of 86%, which is encouraging for prospective students. Students whose SAT/ACT scores and GPA are within the institution’s requirements have a good chance of being admitted. About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
