Jazzy 123 Learn to Count with Music– This top educational app will teach your children numbers and musical instruments in a fun and interactive manner. Your child will be able to identify numbers and tell the difference between various musical instruments and their sounds. Jazzy 123 is available in more than 10 languages, and it’s very simple and easy to use.
Music Tech Teacher– Music Tech Teacher is a hub for music-related content for educators. It offers quizzes, games, and music theory instruction, and worksheets to promote learning and evaluation of knowledge. The app includes 140 puzzles and games about music theory, notes, composition, rhythm, instruments, composers, and more. This is all run by a nonprofit; all content is copyrighted, but it can be used within the app, but cannot be shared externally. To play the games, you need Adobe Flash or JavaScript.
GarageBand– With GarageBand ’11, you can learn 22 new “Learn to Play lessons” in the most common musical genres, and an interesting new feature known as ” How Did I Play?” The app lets you practice lessons, receive real-time feedback about any mistakes, and monitor your improvement over time. It also offers new features that help you create songs with better sounds.
Toca Band – With Toca Band, children can experiment with 16 different characters to create their own band. All types of music can be used from opera to rap. Simply put, the characters on stage and move them around to experiment with different sounds and styles. There are 48 fun sound loops that can be put together in endless combinations depending on the child’s preferences.
WURRLYedu – uses music as a gateway to teach critical life skills. It is a curated content platform with creation tools. Noteflight Premium has additional features that enable you to create infinitely more scores, compose and listen using over 85 instruments in premiere conditions, record and score audios in real time, and print parts or entire score transcriptions. Scores can be transcribed using a MIDI device. With Noteflight, you can create score collections and share them with friends.
