Meredith College is a private liberal arts college for women situated on an attractive 225-acre campus in Raleigh, North Carolina. The institution has a large selection of 32 undergraduate and graduate degree programs for students to choose from. Students are backed by a robust 11 to 1 student/faculty ratio, and professors take a personalized approach to the teaching and learning process. Outside of the classroom, students will find plenty of opportunities to engage with the campus community via many clubs and organizations. The Meredith Avenging Angels play in the NCAA Division III USA South Athletic Conference.

Overview of Meredith College Admissions

Admissions at Meredith College are not highly selective–around two-thirds of applicants are admitted each year. Students whose SAT/ACT scores and GPA are within the institution’s requirements have a good chance of being admitted. Applicants must complete an online application and send test scores from either the SAT or ACT and high school transcripts. About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
