Planboard – This comprehensive tool enables educators and school administrators to plan and track lessons, schedules, and curriculums. The first step is to make a free account at chalk.com; the user can color-code the studies, subdividing them if more than one class takes a subject. The final step is organizing and creating the lessons. Planboard enables users to attach media files, documents, and external links; this tool can also be synchronized with other products from chalk.com.

Curriculum Engine – This is a revolutionary intelligent program of study editing and design product initially developed for high school math. The Curriculum Engine product automates the process of tailoring resources to meet the specific needs of educators, classes, and learners and enables an educator to define and build coherent standards-aligned classes easily. The product works with leading learning management and learner information systems or on a standalone basis to edit, author, and deliver rich, personalized math content. It has an unlimited capacity to build classes that any district or educator needs, from core instruction and credit or content recovery to test preparation.

Learning Explorer – is a learning object repository (LOR) and program of study management product for districts and schools that has been designed for– and by– educators to make it easy to discover, manage, personalize and assign learning resources using an intuitive drag-and-drop interface. Learning It is a single-sign-on solution that enables educators to search for standards-based learning resources from a huge library of curated OER and top-quality third-party educational publisher content with just a few clicks. About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
