Create a reading-friendly environment at home. Ensure that children have access to a variety of books and a cozy space to read.

Encourage independent reading. Allow children to choose what they want to read, fostering a sense of autonomy and connection to the material.

Discuss books together. Engaging in conversations about characters, plots, and themes can deepen their understanding and enjoyment of the stories.

Visit local libraries and bookstores regularly. Exposure to new books and authors can spark interest and excitement about reading.

Participate in reading challenges or book clubs. These initiatives can motivate children to read more and explore different genres.

Choosing the right book series for kids in grades 3 to 7 can be a rewarding experience for both children and adults. The series mentioned above offer captivating stories that can inspire, educate, and entertain. By fostering a love for reading through engaging narratives and relatable characters, we can help young readers embark on a lifelong journey of exploration and imagination. About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
