Introduction:

As we move further into the digital age, more and more people are looking to cut the cord from traditional television services in favor of live streaming. With a plethora of options available, it can be overwhelming to choose the right streaming service. In this article, we take a look at the best live TV streaming services available for cord-cutting in 2023.

1. Hulu + Live TV:

Hulu has long been a favorite for streaming on-demand content, but their Live TV option is quickly gaining traction. For a monthly fee, Hulu + Live TV offers access to over 65 channels including major networks like ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX. Additionally, subscribers can enjoy live sports events, premium movie channels, and access to Hulu’s extensive library of original programming and on-demand shows.

2. YouTube TV:

Youtube TV has become a strong competitor in the world of live streaming services due to its extensive channel lineup of over 85 channels including local networks, sports channels, and popular cable channels. The platform also offers an unlimited cloud DVR feature allowing users to record their favorite shows and movies without storage limits.

3. Sling TV:

Sling TV offers two base packages – Sling Orange and Sling Blue – with each offering a different lineup of channels tailored towards specific interests like news or sports. Subscribers can then customize their package with additional add-on packs for extra channels or features. Sling TV is perfect for those who want an affordable and customizable live streaming option.

4. FuboTV:

FuboTV is known as the premier live streaming service for sports enthusiasts due to its robust lineup of sports channels including national leagues like NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL as well as international soccer coverage. Besides sports content, FuboTV also offers over 100 channels which include popular entertainment and news networks.

5. Philo:

Philo is the ideal live streaming service for budget-conscious cord cutters, offering an affordable base package that includes more than 60 channels focusing mainly on lifestyle and entertainment. Features such as unlimited cloud DVR storage and the ability to stream on multiple devices simultaneously make Philo a compelling option for subscribers seeking value.

Conclusion:

Cord-cutting has become increasingly popular as live TV streaming services continue to offer more flexible and affordable alternatives to traditional cable and satellite television. With options like Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, Sling TV, FuboTV, and Philo, consumers can easily find the perfect streaming service tailored to their individual preferences and needs. The rise of these providers has made it easier than ever to enjoy live television without being tied down by contracts or expensive fees.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
