Considering taking your family to Puerto Rico?

Therefore, it should go without saying that you’ll want to book a stay at a fantastic family-friendly resort.

Finding both family-friendly and enjoyable resorts for adults can occasionally be challenging, but don’t worry—they do exist.

You don’t need to worry about stressing yourself out by searching the internet because I’ve already done most of the work for you.

If you’re looking for a luxurious family resort stay or a straightforward beach resort, take a look at this list of the top 12 family hotels in Puerto Rico and what each one has to offer.

Then get ready for an amazing family trip that will leave you with wonderful memories.

  1. DoubleTree by Hilton in San Juan

It is one of the best family resorts in Puerto Rico and is located in downtown San Juan. It is also where most of the island’s well-known tourist attractions are located.

It’s one of the best locations I’ve been to in Puerto Rico with kids, in my opinion.

The resort has a large outdoor pool and four excellent restaurants with conventional children’s menu selections.

The rooms are roomy, equipped with free Wi-Fi and a kitchen, and ideal for families that like their morning ritual.

  1. The San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino

Contemporary resort suites with balconies are available at the San Juan Marriott Resort. All rooms have a small kitchen, refrigerator, TV, and access to the resort’s wi-fi for enjoyable streaming movie evenings.

Six restaurants guarantee a wonderful dining experience, and each one has a bar for adults and fantastic kid’s menus with entertaining sweets for the little ones.

  1. Las Casitas Village – A Waldorf Astoria Resort

As a member of the Waldorf Astoria chain of resorts and hotels, Las Casitas Village is just as opulent and glamorous as you’d expect, offering up to three-bedroom apartments with views of the ocean.

The resort has a fantastic professional spa that also offers kid-friendly services as a special treat and many restaurants that offer room service as an add-on.

  1. The El Conquistador Resort

One of the most family-friendly resorts in Puerto Rico is the El Conquistador Resort, which is a member of the Waldorf Astoria chain and features a sizable water park and lots of kid-friendly activities.

Kids will be amused for the duration of their stay with activities, including nature walks, beach outings, and a video game arcade.

The rooms have ample space for solitude, and there is wi-fi throughout the hotel so you can watch Netflix by the pool.

There is more to see nearby, just a taxi or shuttle ride away.

  1. The Copamarina Beach Resort

The Copamarina Beach resort offers up to three-bedroom suites with amenities like a kitchen, additional bathroom, TV, and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. It is ideally situated for a fantastic ocean view and convenient access to the beach.

There are two top-notch eateries with wonderful children’s menu selections and a new tennis court with instructions for beginners.

In addition, the resort has a variety of pools, or you can visit the nearby island or beach.

  1. The Courtyard by Marriott Isla Verde

You should consider The Courtyard when looking for family-friendly resorts in Puerto Rico. It is a family hotel from the Marriott chain situated on Isla Verde.

Like most Marriott hotels, they offer a special program for kids and go out of their way to ensure that kids have an enjoyable time at the resort.

A particular small pool is available for younger children, and The Courtyard boasts numerous pools with a fantastic outlook.

There are excellent kid-friendly dining options at five different restaurants, and a stroll to the beach will reveal a lot of beauty.

You may ask the front desk for recommendations that will fill your calendar for the duration of your visit. They also provide some fantastic family packages for Puerto Rico sightseeing that will show you the area’s best.

  1. The Ritz-Carlton San Juan

The Ritz-Carlton is located directly in downtown San Juan. Most of the accommodations have breathtaking ocean views.

It’s as huge as you’d think, with a tennis court, a spa serving adults and children, and five on-site dining options.

The Ritz Kids club, created especially for children, is full of great educational activities that create wonderful memories.

Wi-fi is available throughout the resort, and a kitchen in each room and room service is an option.

There is a shuttle service near the resort that can transport you to all the sights in San Juan and the surrounding areas, where there is a tonne of nightlife and restaurants to check out.

  1. The Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Puerto Rico Golf & Beach Resort

With excellent room options that overlook the ocean and a prime beachfront location, this resort is as fun-filled as its lengthy name suggests.

The resort is enormous, and there are ten different restaurants available, so no matter who you’re traveling with, they’ll all be impressed.

Additionally, there are two golf courses, a spa on site, excursions and walking trails for people of all ages, a sizable pool with a waterslide, and more (and supervision for kids).

What could be more ideal?

  1. Caribe Hilton San Juan

Suites at The Caribe, one of the resort choices provided by the Hilton brand of hotels, come with breathtaking views from the balcony.

While older children can rent beach equipment and benefit from kayaking lessons, younger children (and some young-at-heart adults) can find themselves engrossed in the location’s gaming arcade.

Additionally, there are nine restaurants around the Caribe, and amenities like free wi-fi and a smart TV in the room are standard. These features may inspire a fun movie night that simultaneously amuses the entire family.

  1. The Condado Plaza Hilton

The Condado Plaza Hilton offers a degree of comfort and elegance that doesn’t feel like a vast and intimidating resort, and the beach is just a few feet away from the hotel.

The Condado has a large pool with a shallow end for inexperienced swimmers and a waterslide for more experienced kids.

Everyone in the family can enjoy themselves at one of the six restaurants, and the property also features an adult-only casino.

  1. The InterContinental San Juan

The InterContinental San Juan has spacious rooms with ocean views and a terrace directly on the beach.

You’ll find everything you want to see within, usually just a walk or shuttle ride from the InterContinental. Four restaurants offer a variety of great kid-friendly menu options (with the usual kids’ favorite of burgers and fries being one of them, of course, and desserts like waffles being a bonus).

  1. The Casablanca Hotel San Juan

If you wish to stay in one of San Juan’s most historic neighborhoods, the Casablanca Hotel is a terrific option. The hotel is close to many historical sites and can be reached by taxi, shuttle, or foot from the main resort.

Families that are accustomed to their morning routine provide wonderful, homey apartments with cozy furnishings and additional conveniences like free wi-fi and a kitchen.

Additionally, the breathtaking skyline of Puerto Rico is also visible from some suites.

Of course, there is also a kid-friendly pool on the property.

  1. The Hampton Inn & Suites San Juan

The Luis Muoz Marin International Airport is five minutes drive from the Hampton Inn & Suites San Juan, which is only a few feet from Isla Verde beach.

Towels, chairs, umbrellas, and toys for the kids are all provided at no charge by Hampton for a day at the beach.

While also finding a peaceful moment by their pool.

Modern, roomy family suites with free WiFi are available.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
