1. Stanford University, Stanford, CA

Stanford University is one of the leading research institutions in the world, known for its achievements and ongoing work in sustainability, technology, and much more. More than 9,000 graduate learners attend Stanford. Stanford’s MS in environment and resources degree program was specifically designed to be earned alongside a graduate degree in business or law. Learners gain a firm introduction to science and technology connected to environmental issues.

2. University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA

Penn’s legendary Wharton business school houses the initiative for global environmental leadership degree program. Via this degree program, learners can earn an MBA in environmental and risk management degree and investigate both private and public sector relationships to business sustainability. This is a highly multidisciplinary degree. Another choice for studying sustainability at Penn is to earn a dual degree. Penn offers an MBA coupled with an MES (master of environmental studies) degree program that is even more multidisciplinary. For people searching for a mostly liberal arts approach to environmental management, this is a great way to go.

3. Yale University, New Haven, CT

Yale is an Ivy League institution and is one of the world’s best schools. Structured into more than a dozen colleges and schools, Yale is home to 12,000 learners.

At Yale, learners can earn a master of environmental management degree that is a mixture of STEAM leadership and policy. Learners will develop a broad comprehension of the natural and social systems influencing natural resources and supports issues. Along with classwork at Yale, learners will partake in a capstone independent project. They will also finish nearly three months of summer interning or research. Yale, therefore, ensures that learners have real-life, sought-after experience upon graduation.

4. Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK

This is a perfect degree program for people who want to investigate how society makes decisions about the utilization and protection of natural landscapes.

6. Humboldt State University, Arcata, CA

Humboldt State University is nestled between the redwood forests and the Pacific Ocean. It is a state-run institution and part of the larger California State University System. A relatively small school, HSU offers about a dozen graduate degrees to its 500 graduate learners.

HSU has four ways to study natural resources and supports, including a graduate degree in environmental science and management. This is a research-based degree program that addresses the scientific and societal reasons behind natural degradation. This multidisciplinary degree program encourages student to connect with other departments, such as the biology division, along with the natural resources and supports the degree program.
