Are you looking for test proctoring apps, tools, and resources that you can use with your students? If so, we have you covered. Check out our list below. Let us know if there are any that we missed.

FastTest – The FastTest platform is structured and created to empower organizations to publish tests based on modern psychometrics. It also allows test organizations to develop professional psychometric reports in-house with Iteman for CTT and Xcalibre for IRT. Users secure their information and configure security with remote proctoring, lockdown browser, and proctor codes.

ProctorTrack – ProctorTrack is designed to provide proctor services that allow students to take exams at their convenience. The tool can easily be set up by linking it to your existing learning management system.

ProctorU– ProctorU uses webcams and screen-sharing technology to monitor students taking online exams. It allows students to test from the comfort of their home or office while assuring supervisors of test quality and integrity. ProctorU has a three-step verification process to ensure that the student who entered for an exam is the same student taking the exam and that he or she adheres strictly to the guidelines and requirements of the testing organization. Test proctors can keep a close eye on proceedings with the exams using the webcam and screen-mirroring technology; ProctorU also provides one-on-one, live interviewing for hundreds of colleges, universities, and certification organizations.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
