Water parks are all the rage right now. You may have heard they’re a thing, but do you know where to go? We’ve got three suggestions for your next trip to Omaha’s fun water park to have quality and fun family time. Omaha is a great place to escape the summer heat and have fun with your family. From museums to amusement parks, the city has plenty of options for you and your loved ones. If you’re looking for something adventurous, why not head to one of Omaha’s waterparks? Here are some ultimate suggestions for the best Omaha to spend the day in Omaha!

  1. Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Omaha

The Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Omaha is a two-story hotel that sits just off the interstate, marking it as one of the closest hotels to downtown Omaha’s entertainment district. It’s also near several restaurants and attractions, including Old Market Square and the Harley Davidson Museum. The hotel has 632 rooms with free Wi-Fi and complimentary breakfast each morning.

The Ramada Plaza has an indoor pool with whirlpool Jacuzzi tubs, an outdoor pool area with a hot tub, water slides, and other fun activities for kids (the slide even goes through a fireman’s pole!). There are also plenty of exercise machines in the fitness center so that you can work off all those calories from overeating at one of our favorite restaurants!

  1. Best Western Plus Kelly Inn

The Best Western Plus Kelly Inn is in the heart of Omaha, Nebraska. It’s within walking distance to some of the city’s most popular attractions, including Ralston Arena and Midtown Crossing Mall.

The hotel offers an outdoor pool alongside a hot tub and waterslide and an indoor pool with whirlpool tubs. There are also two hot tubs at the spa lounge where guests can relax at the parks or shop around downtown Omaha after a day.

The hotel has several nearby restaurants: Subway Sandwich Shop, Buffalo Wild Wings, Panera Bread, A&W Root Beer Float & Grill, Starbucks Coffee Roasters

, and Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse. The hotel is in the middle of Omaha’s downtown area, making exploring all the city offers easy. Guests can shop at the Midtown Crossing Mall or explore some of the unique shops nearby, like Modern Artifacts Gallery, Nebraska Furniture Mart, The Old Market, and many more.

  1. Holiday Inn Omaha Downtown – Airport

The Holiday Inn Omaha Downtown Airport is near the airport, which makes it easy to get to attractions like the zoo and other nearby attractions. It also has free parking and complimentary breakfast.

The hotel offers much-needed relaxing amenities like an indoor pool and fitness center. Still, it’s not the only hotel in this area that does so—there are many more options for accommodations if you’re looking for something else!

The hotel has free WiFi and free parking. It also offers a shuttle service to the airport, making it easy for guests to reach their desired location during their stay.

The hotel has an indoor pool, a modern fitness center, and a business center. The lobby is spacious and contemporary, with seating areas available for guests to relax while they wait for the arrival of their friends or family.

If you’re searching for a place to stay during your visit, we hope this list will help you find and choose the perfect hotel in Omaha! All three above hotels have something different, so check them out and book your next trip.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
