North Carolina State University has a master of education with a concentration in adult and continuing professional education. The degree is offered in a blended format, meaning learners will take classes online and in person. Alternatively, learners can work on a master of science degree, which is a thesis-based degree program. Here’s a look at some classes:

The University of South Florida is a sizeable state institution that made up of three campuses: USF Main Campus, USF St. Petersburg, and USF Sarasota-Manatee. Over 50,000 learners attend each year. USF is rated in the top 50 in the nation among other institutions for its research expenditures.
USF’s College of Education has an MA in adult education, which requires a total of 36 credit hours. This degree program appeals to learners with or without a teaching license. The degree is intended for learners without a background in education.
One of the state’s strongest graduate research institutions, Florida International University has more than 56,800 learners attend annually. Florida International University has an MS in adult education and human resource development. The coursework takes learners through 36 credit hours with the addition of a 3-credit internship. James Madison University has an MSEd degree in adult education/human resource development. This degree can be finished online or in person. Along with the core coursework, learners can concentrate in five distinct areas, including instructional design, HR management, and higher education. Coursework includes:

Pennsylvania State University has an MEd degree in lifelong learning and adult education. The coursework leans into a multidisciplinary approach to adult education. Over 30 credit hours, learners will experience core classes, electives, and a final master’s thesis. Classes include:

Pennsylvania State University-Main Campus offers is a dual MD/MEd degree in lifelong learning and adult education.
