What’s Lost When We Rush Kids Through Childhood

When we rush our kids through childhood, we lose out on some of the best years of their lives. We miss out on teaching them how to balance a check book and how to navigate a social world. We miss out on teaching them how to assert themselves and how to problem-solve. We miss out on teaching them how to be responsible adults.
By rushing our kids through childhood, we also lose out on their potential for greatness. If they are not given the time to develop their skills and talents, they may never reach their full potential. They may never be able to accomplish the things they are capable of.
It is important that we give our kids the time they need to grow and develop. If we rush them through childhood, we may never be able to see the amazing things that our kids can accomplish. We may never be able to see the great potential that our kids have.
