Top College Learning Apps You’ll Love in 2024

Are you a university learner looking for products that you can use to ace your classes? Check out the definitive list that we made. Who did we miss?

Coursera– This product is designed to help university learners make the right choices when it is time to decide what classes they want to take. It helps to prevent the waste of money. It also helps with the elimination of the course they don’t have an interest in by offering free online classes beforehand.

Public Speaking VR– With an immersive VR experience, learners, business professionals, and many other users can practice their public speaking abilities. This product uses photorealistic environments and other immersive options to allow for engaging abilities practice. The product teaches different abilities, including networking, presentations, language learning, etc. The product uses hardware such as VR headsets, Google Cardboard, Merge VR, and Blizwolf VR; it also supports the Daydream View headset. In the case of a product freeze, Google VR services might need to be disabled and restarted.

Quick Fractions– This product aims to make fractions-associated problems easy for anyone willing to solve them. This product is suitable for children just starting with fractions, advanced learners, and even adults looking for a challenge. The game uses four modalities to keep users occupied and entertained as they try to solve the problems. The first mode is Equivalence, in which users solve equivalence problems using fractions, percentages, and decimals. The second is Compare, in which participants compare fractions, percentages, and decimals. The third is Addition and subtraction, which involve proper and improper fractions and mixed numbers using mental arithmetic. The fourth mode is Multiplication and Division, in which mental arithmetic is utilized to multiply and divide all forms of fractions.

QuizletFlashcards– This is a mode of the Quizlet product that enables learners to use customized digital flashcards or select from the 150 million flashcards made by other learners. Learners can select from several modalities to study with the flashcards, including multiple-choice tests and study games. The possibilities are endless; the learner can personalize their flashcards using pictures and audio, or they can use this product to study on dozens of other quizlet products.

onCampus – This product is designed to help schools in the UK regardless of a low budget; onCampus also provides learning materials for pre-university. It can also be utilized to help learners find an ideal study program.

ScholarsShop – This product can be utilized to find scholarship programs to help learners get through university and university. ScholarsShop enables users to search by city, school, or county. It is also helpful in identifying the universities that support different kinds of learners.

Udacity – Udacity is an online learning environment for university-level classes at a fraction of the cost of a traditional university. With a focus on Artificial Intelligence, tech, and business, all Udacity classes are hands-on and interactive. To help graduates succeed in their chosen careers, class projects are designed to mimic real-world activities and can be easily included in portfolios for future job searches. Udacity provides career assistance to graduates, including resume reviews and interview prep.

Study.com –  Study.com enables learners to extend their knowledge of course content from home or incorporate it into class lessons to meet learner differentiation needs. There are options to take coursework for university credit, receive homework help or comprehensive study prep, and engage in professional learning work. With videos ranging from the history of Rome to working with fractions, Study.com can be utilized with learners from K-12 and beyond. Any university credit earned is easily transferrable to over 1,500 U.S. colleges and universities. Educators can enroll their classes, assign videos and lessons, and even access printable resources such as worksheets designed to pair with video content.

Achieve 3000 Leadership Edition– Based on decades of in-depth research, Achieve 3000 uses patented methods to provide immersive, nonfiction materials that teach English, adult learning, special education, and workforce readiness. This product supports English and Spanish, providing for readers with difficulties aligned with the Common Core State Standards for the English language.

Grammarly– Grammarly is your private grammar coach and a computerized proofreader that helps learners get better in the correct use of grammar and gain confidence in their writing ability. Assists you in correcting about 10 times more mistakes than usual word processors, and it corrects more than 150 kinds of grammatical errors and does a plagiarism check.

Algebrator– Using Algebrator’s step-by-step explanations of the answers to even the most challenging math problems, learners can learn to solve homework problems in a way that is easy to understand. Algebrator can be utilized by guardians, adult learners, and homeschoolers to improve their math abilities.

Brilliant– This product teaches learners key math, science, and computer science concepts applicable in problem-solving scenarios. Back and forth, interactive lessons have been proven to be more effective than boring one-way lectures. Develop yourself using the materials assembled by top researchers and professionals. Suitable for adults and kids over the age of 10.

MATHiaU– MATHiaU is math learning software offered by Carnegie Learning. It provides university-level math assistance, including one-on-one tutoring. With this product, learners take thorough assessments and are given feedback that contains a personalized learning path. MATHiaU provides affordable, practical artificial intelligence-based tutoring.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
