Saint Anselm College offers new free-tuition program for some NH students
Saint Anselm College, a private Benedictine liberal arts college in Manchester, New Hampshire, has announced a groundbreaking new program offering free tuition to eligible New Hampshire residents. The “Anselmian Opportunity Program” targets students from low- and middle-income families, aiming to make a high-quality education accessible to a wider range of individuals.
The program, starting in Fall 2024, will cover the full cost of tuition for students whose families earn less than $75,000 annually. This initiative goes beyond traditional financial aid, ensuring a truly tuition-free experience. In addition, students will have access to resources like academic advising, career services, and mentorship programs, further promoting their success at Saint Anselm.
“This program embodies our core values of access and opportunity,” said President Joseph A. Favazza. “We want to remove financial barriers and ensure that all qualified New Hampshire students have the chance to experience the transformative power of a Saint Anselm education.”
The Anselmian Opportunity Program is a testament to Saint Anselm’s commitment to serving the community and fostering academic excellence. By providing free tuition, the college aims to attract diverse and talented students, enriching the campus environment and preparing future generations for success. This innovative program is expected to be a model for other institutions, demonstrating the possibilities of creating inclusive and accessible higher education for all.
