Overview of Regis College

Situated on a robust 132-acre campus just outside of Boston, Regis College is a small, co-educational, Catholic liberal arts institution. Regis students can select from 17 majors and 30 minors. Nursing is by far the most popular major at both the bachelor’s and associate’s levels. Academics are backed by a 9 to 1 student/faculty ratio. Outside of the classroom, students will find plenty of opportunities to engage with the campus community via many clubs and organizations. The Regis College Pride plays in the NCAA Division III New England Collegiate Conference. The institution sponsors seven men’s and nine women’s intercollegiate sports.

Overview of Regis College Admissions

Most applicants are admitted to Regis College each year; in 2019, the school accepted 78% of those who submitted applications. Students whose SAT/ACT scores and GPA are within the institution’s requirements have a good chance of being admitted. Applicants must complete an online application and send test scores from either the SAT or ACT and high school transcripts. Students with unique talents and accomplishments can still receive strong consideration even if their GPAs are outside of the mean range. After applying, students will receive a message from an admissions counselor about the application process’s next steps. About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
