Introduction:

As the beloved galactic franchise celebrates its remarkable legacy on May 4th with the slogan, “May the Fourth Be With You”, we are excited to announce a special Teacher Giveaway in honor of this annual Star Wars Day.
Let’s commemorate this iconic day by honoring our incredible educators who inspire and encourage the next generation of jedis, warriors, and leaders. Presenting the May the Fourth Be With You Teacher Giveaway!

The Giveaway:

Our May the Fourth Teacher Giveaway offers three prize packages for three deserving teachers. The prizes are designed to bring some extra fun and creativity to your classroom while spreading Star Wars excitement among your students.

Prize Packages:

1. Stellar Classroom Supplies: This package will provide you with an assortment of Star Wars-themed school supplies, including notebooks, pencils, stickers, and posters to foster enthusiasm for learning in your classroom galaxy.

2. Galactic Reading Collection: The Force is strong with this collection of carefully selected Star Wars books. Watch as your students experience enthralling adventures within the vast universe while enriching their reading skills.

Participation Guidelines:

To enter our May the Fourth Teacher Giveaway, kindly follow these simple steps:

1. Complete the entry form found on our website.

2. Tell us why you or a deserving teacher should win in 100 words or less.

3. Share a photo (optional but encouraged) of you or your nominee incorporating Star Wars into teaching.

4. Submit your entry form by April 30th.

Winners will be selected based on creativity, enthusiasm, and their commitment towards inspiring passion for learning among students. Winning entries will be announced on May the Fourth, Star Wars Day!

Note: The giveaway is open to legal residents of the United States who are active educators (K-12 teachers).

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
