Situated in the Northeast Kingdom in Vermont, Lyndon State College is a public college focusing on both the liberal arts. The institution has a large selection of undergraduate and graduate degree programs for students to choose from. Students are supported by a robust 14 to 1 student/faculty ratio, and professors take a personalized approach to the teaching and learning process. Outside of the classroom, students will find plenty of opportunities to engage with the campus community via their 25 clubs and organizations. The Lyndon State Hornets play in the NCAA Division III North Atlantic Conference.

Overview of Lyndon State College Admissions

Lyndon State College is an accessible school–in 2019, it had an acceptance rate of 98%. Students whose SAT/ACT scores and GPA are within the institution’s requirements have a good chance of being admitted. Applicants must complete an online application and send test scores from either the SAT or ACT and high school transcripts. Students with unique talents and accomplishments can still receive strong consideration even if their GPAs are outside of the mean range. About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
