Founded in 1882, Lane College is a private, four-year Christian Methodist Episcopal college situated on 55 acres in Jackson, Tennessee. Memphis is about 80 miles away. The institution has a large selection of undergraduate and graduate degree programs for students to choose from. Students are supported by a robust 18 to 1 student/faculty ratio, and professors take a personalized approach to the teaching and learning process. Outside of the classroom, students will find plenty of opportunities to engage with the campus community via many clubs and organizations. Lane plays in the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) Division II Southwestern Intercollegiate Athletic Association.

Overview of Lane College Admissions

With an acceptance rate of 48%, almost half of the applicants are not admitted each year. Students whose SAT/ACT scores and GPA are within the institution’s requirements have a good chance of being admitted.
