Now, as he prepares to step back from his role as Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing, Cech reflects on the profound changes he’s seen and the enduring values that have remained constant.

“When I started, we were still using typewriters and mimeograph machines. Technology has changed the way we communicate and connect with students dramatically,” Cech shared, a hint of nostalgia in his voice. “But the core mission of Carroll, to provide a rigorous education grounded in the liberal arts tradition, remains unchanged.”

Over the years, Cech has held numerous roles at Carroll, each providing a unique perspective on the institution. From admissions to marketing, he has been instrumental in attracting and nurturing generations of students.
