Introduction

With the rise of on-demand streaming services, cable subscriptions have gradually lost their charm. As people continue to cut the cord and switch to online platforms like YouTube TV, there’s a need for an easily accessible way to record content. In this article, we will guide you through the process of recording anything on YouTube TV, so you never miss your favorite shows and movies.

Step-By-Step Guide

1. Sign up and log in: To record content on YouTube TV, you first need to have an active subscription. Head over to tv.youtube.com and sign up for an account. Once that’s done, log in with your credentials.

2. Access the Live tab: On the YouTube TV interface, click on the ‘Live’ tab. It will display all the available channels and shows that are currently airing.

3. Find your desired show or movie: Browse through the list of channels and shows until you find the content you want to record.

4. Start recording: Once you’ve found your desired program, hover your cursor over it and click on the ‘+’ symbol that appears. This action will add your show or movie to your personal library for recording.

5. Accessing recorded content: To view your recorded content, go back to the main interface of YouTube TV and click on the ‘Library’ tab. Here you will find all of your saved recordings categorized according to date or theme.

6. Organize your recordings (optional): If you wish to organize your recordings further, click on any show or movie in your library, then click on ‘Sort.’ You can choose from various sorting options like alphabetically (A-Z), by popularity, or by release date.

7. Playback controls: While watching a recorded program, use YouTube TV’s familiar playback controls. These include play/pause, fast forward/rewind (10 seconds at a time), and access to closed captions.

Extra Tip:

To ensure that your favorite shows are always recorded, you can set up a Series Pass. This feature automates the process of recording every episode of a specific show. Just search for the show in YouTube TV and click on ‘More info’ followed by ‘Add to library.’ Now, every new episode will be recorded automatically and made available in your library.

Conclusion:

Recording content on YouTube TV is a simple and convenient process. By following these steps, you can easily save your favorite shows and movies for later viewing. Moreover, organizing your personal library and using handy features like Series Pass makes YouTube TV an attractive choice for cord-cutters. Enjoy your favorite content at your leisure!

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
