Handwriting Practice Apps That You Will Love

Children Academy– With Children Academy, your children will learn to write letters and develop handwriting abilities in a very interesting way. The product helps learners to learn while playing a game that uses a proven multisensory approach to teach kids how to lowercase and uppercase letters. Children are guided by arrows and dotted lines through the letter tracing process.

Dexteria– Dexteria offers therapeutic exercises developed to enhance fine motor abilities and handwriting in children and adults. It can also be utilized to build strength and enhance motor control. For best results, the exercises should be done regularly in small sessions. Dexteria is also designed with an automatic tracker and self-reporting feature so that guardians, educators, and therapists can monitor both compliance and progress.

Handwriting Heroes– As the name implies, Handwriting Heroes is a perfect, multisensory program that helps children get a strong foundation for writing fluently and legibly. Via music, stories, and animation, your children will learn the formation of lowercase letters and be able to explain why they are formed that way. The product comes with three levels of difficulty which entertain and educate elementary school children of different abilities.

Handwriting Without Tears: Wet-Dry-Try– This product enables learners to practice writing letters and numbers on a virtual chalkboard. Children learn the correct ways of writing numbers, lowercase letters, and capitals while practicing. Children can learn handwriting abilities productively and easily through the simulation of Blackboard and Slate Chalkboard with Double Line.

Crazy Cursive Alphabets Joined Up Writing– This product is ideal for helping kids learn new languages. It uses merged words to form new words. For every four words written accurately, a new fun character is unlocked. You can add the top 100 words or your own words.

Cursive Writing WizardHandwriting Practice– Children learn how to trace using animated emojis with enticing tones. Once the kid masters tracing, four interactive games open where they interact with letters. This product can be personalized to meet the need of every kid, and it monitors the kid’s progress.

Intro to Cursive– This product will teach your kid the fundamental foundations of language with a focus on cursive as well as reading, writing, and understanding lowercase and uppercase letters and how they are pronounced. Your kid will also be introduced to cursive and a unique section designed particularly for practicing uppercase and lowercase letters.

Intro to Alphabets– Your kid will learn to read, write, trace, and record letter sounds, phonograms, and names based on the widely accepted methodology of Montessori. Intro to Alphabets will teach your kid the fundamental foundations of language, reading, writing, and understanding of letters a-z (both lowercase and uppercase) as well as their sounds and symbols. Intro to Alphabets is a universal product that works on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
