Franklin College is proud to announce the addition of several new members to its Alumni Council, a dedicated group that plays a pivotal role in fostering a robust network of alumni engagement and support for the college. The Alumni Council, with its rich history and commitment to bridging the gap between past and present students, looks forward to integrating these new voices as they steer the college into a promising future.

Strengthening Connections

The Alumni Council serves as an important link between the college and its alumni, promoting engagement through various initiatives, events, and programs. With the recent influx of new members, the council aims to enhance its outreach efforts, ensure that alumni voices are heard, and create a more inclusive community.

The newly appointed members come from diverse backgrounds and fields, bringing a wealth of experience, insights, and enthusiasm to the council. They embody the spirit of Franklin College, showcasing how alumni can contribute to the college’s mission while also supporting their peers.

Meet the New Members

Among the new inductees are accomplished professionals from various sectors, including education, business, healthcare, and technology. Each member brings unique perspectives and skills that will undoubtedly enrich the council’s discussions and initiatives.

These individuals have demonstrated a strong commitment to their respective fields and have maintained a continued interest in advancing Franklin College’s reputation and influence. By collaborating with existing council members, they aim to create programs that foster professional development, mentorship opportunities, and continued lifelong learning for alumni.

Focus on Engagement and Initiative

One of the council’s primary goals is to develop initiatives that resonate with the alumni community. The new members are eager to tackle pressing topics such as career networking, alumni mentorship, and community outreach.

The council envisions creating programs that facilitate connections among alumni, current students, and faculty. By leveraging technology and modern communication strategies, they hope to design virtual and in-person events that cater to diverse interests and needs.

A Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

The Franklin College Alumni Council recognizes the importance of diversity and representation within its ranks. The new members reflect a commitment to cultivating an inclusive environment that encourages dialogue and engagement among all graduates. The council aims to ensure that every alumni voice is valued and that their experiences and perspectives contribute to the broader alumni community.

Looking Ahead

As the Alumni Council welcomes its new members, it embarks on an ambitious journey to strengthen its impact on the college and its graduates. The energy and passion brought by the newcomers are expected to invigorate ongoing projects and inspire new initiatives that harness the collective power of the Franklin College alumni network.

In conclusion, the Alumni Council at Franklin College stands poised to make significant strides in enhancing alumni connectivity and engagement. With new members on board, the council is excited to explore innovative ways to benefit both alumni and current students, ensuring that the Franklin College legacy continues to thrive for generations to come. The future looks bright as they work collaboratively toward a vision that champions alumni success, community involvement, and lifelong connections.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
