Fine Motor Skill Apps That You Will Love

Button Board– Introduce your kids to color with this creative game. The gameplay has other benefits, including hand-eye coordination, fine motor abilities development, and improving concentration. Assemble incomprehensive pictures by dragging colored buttons into place. Free play mode enables kids to make their own designs using preset colors. The gameplay is customizable using the kid-lock key that modifies gameplay to fit your kid’s needs.

Dexteria– Dexteria offers therapeutic exercises developed to enhance fine motor abilities and handwriting in children and adults. It can also be utilized to build strength and enhance motor control. The exercises should be done regularly in small sessions for the best result. Dexteria is also designed with automatic tracker and self-reporting feature so that guardians, educators, and therapists can monitor both compliance and progress

Dress Up: Professions– This is a fun product for young kids to learn to find a color, professions, items of coloring, and how to differentiate left from right. Kids also develop their fine motor abilities and creativity as they dress up the cute kids on the product, which contains about 30 puzzles and 100 garments for 15 professions. This product was developed by PlayToddlers and is suitable for both male and female kids.

Special Words – Special Words is a speech and language development product adaptable to individual learners’ abilities and needs. This product was specifically made for kids and adults with learning disabilities and/or those with autism. The product covers five areas of targeted development: communication and language abilities, sight-word vocabulary, listening and speaking abilities, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor abilities. Educators and guardians can import text, photos, music, and record messages to personalize the product and target learners’ specific interests. Adjustable animation speeds are also included to accommodate different abilities and concentration levels.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
