EmpowerU, a leading provider of comprehensive mental health services for students, announced today the expansion of its Tier 2 support program. This expansion will provide increased access to evidence-based interventions for students experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges.

The new Tier 2 program will offer a wider range of services including:

Individualized Therapy: EmpowerU will provide access to licensed therapists specializing in youth mental health, offering tailored interventions to address specific student needs.
Group Therapy: Students will have the opportunity to participate in group therapy sessions focused on topics such as anxiety, depression, and stress management.
Skill Building Workshops: EmpowerU will facilitate workshops equipping students with coping mechanisms and strategies to manage their mental health effectively.
Family Support: EmpowerU recognizes the importance of family involvement and will offer resources and support to help families understand and address their child’s mental health needs.

This expansion is a direct response to the growing demand for accessible mental health support for students. “We are committed to providing students with the resources they need to thrive academically and personally,” said [Name], CEO of EmpowerU. “Our expanded Tier 2 program ensures that students experiencing mental health challenges have access to timely and effective interventions.”

EmpowerU’s expansion of its Tier 2 program aligns with national efforts to prioritize student mental health. The organization believes that by investing in comprehensive support, students can build resilience, improve their overall well-being, and reach their full potential.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
