Are you looking for an education marketplace where educators can purchase apps, tools, and resources that they can use with their students? If so, we have you covered. Check out our list below. Let us know if there are any that we missed.

Tabschool – This cloud-based learning management software is designed for educational institutions to help students enhance their performance. Features include learning resources, personalized attention from teachers, a marketplace of courses, learning with classmates, and many more. TabSchool is free and open.

TeacherVision – TeacherVision is a one-stop-shop for teacher resources, printables, lesson plans, videos, and more. With the ability to search for resources by subject, grade, type of resource (lesson plan, worksheet, etc.), teaching strategy, and theme, TeacherVision makes it quick to find exactly the resource you need in your classroom. With over 20,000 resources, teachers are free to focus less on designing units and more on teaching students.

Busy Teacher Printable Materials– BusyTeacher.org is your point of call to acquire teaching materials for free when you are short on time. Browse their impressive library of about 17,000 free printable materials to find ideas for your classes. No registration or payment is required. These items are shared by teachers who, by making materials available, are making life easier for one another.

TeAchnology – TeAchnology is a website providing free teaching resources. It includes over 46,000 lesson plans, 10,200 worksheets, rubrics, teaching tips, worksheet makers, web quests, and more. With an easy-to-use search bar and lots of preformatted categories such as holidays and critical thinking, TeAchnology can save teachers lots of time in preparing lessons and coordinating units. The website includes lessons and ideas across all subjects and grade levels, so it can be used by any K-12 teacher. They also offer an email newsletter for updates, more free lesson plans, worksheets, and printables.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
