As tech advances, schools and other educational facilities have slowly started incorporating new tools into their contemporary-day programs. Most educators rely heavily on this equipment, using it to provide learners with an enhanced learning experience. Free AI tools for teachers and educators

Although there is a wide variety of tech for educators to choose from, one of the most popular and upcoming is artificial intelligence (AI). This top-of-the-range tech has worked wonders when it comes to education, taking lessons to the next level.

If you do not know what AI is or how it is used in the classroom, you have come to the right place. In this article, we will be discussing the roots of artificial intelligence and how it came to be one of the most popular tools used in the world of education.

Artificial Intelligence

As the name suggests, artificial intelligence (AI) refers to machinery that can demonstrate intelligence. This tech is instrumental in many aspects of human life. For example, factories use AI in manufacturing.

As we become more and more advanced, this tech follows suit. New and improved versions of artificially intelligent machines are released annually, ensuring that companies and institutions are provided with the best and newest tech out there.

How Artificial Intelligence Came to Be Used in Education

As we have already discussed, artificial intelligence is an incredibly popular tool when it comes to education. There are various reasons for this. For example, educators can use AI to complete tedious and repetitive tasks, such as grading papers, replying to emails, or keeping track of absentees.

For this reason, software developers and engineers have been hard at work to make and design new AI tech that can make life even easier for educators and learners all over the world.

How Artificial Intelligence Is Used in Education

AI tech has plenty of uses when it comes to the classroom. We already know that it can take some weight off educators’ shoulders by completing repetitive tasks. However, on top of this, artificial intelligence can provide learners with a more enhanced learning experience.

For example, this tech is often used to give learners constructive and personalized feedback based on exams or assignments. Additionally, specific AI tools can be used for revision or physician teaching.

Conclusion

Artificial intelligence refers to machinery or tech that displays intelligence. These tools are used in various aspects of daily life, including education. Many educators use AI to complete repetitive tasks, such as grading papers or taking absentees.

More so, artificial intelligence can be used to provide learners with an enhanced learning experience. For example, it can analyze and scan exams to make constructive and personalized learner feedback. New AI tools are continually being worked on to make life easier for both learners and educators worldwide.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
