Different Ways to See Deleted Reddit Posts

Introduction:

Reddit, one of the most popular discussion platforms on the internet, serves as a platform for people to share information and participate in discussions on various topics. At times, users may delete their posts for various reasons, but that doesn’t mean they are lost forever. There are several methods you can use to view deleted Reddit posts. Here, we explore some of those techniques to help you retrieve important information or simply satisfy your curiosity.

  1. Removeddit

Removeddit is one of the easiest ways to view deleted Reddit posts and comments. To use Removeddit, simply replace “reddit” in the URL of the post or comment with “removeddit“. For example, if the original URL is “https://www.reddit.com/r/example/post”, change it to “https://www.removeddit.com/r/example/post”. Removeddit will then compile and display the deleted content, whether it’s a post or comment.

  1. Ceddit

Similar to Removeddit, Ceddit is another useful tool that allows users to access deleted content on Reddit. To use Ceddit, replace “reddit” in the URL with “ceddit”. For example: “https://www.cedddit.com/r/example/post“. Ceddit retrieves deleted content using cached data from its servers and displays it for users.

  1. Wayback Machine

The Wayback Machine is an internet archive that takes snapshots of websites at different points in time. You can use this service to view an older version of a Reddit page featuring the deleted content. To do so, visit the Wayback Machine website (https://archive.org/web/), enter the URL of the Reddit post or comment in the search bar, and click on a snapshot before the deletion occurred.

  1. Google Cache

Google Cache can be another effective method for viewing deleted content from Reddit. When you search for a particular webpage on Google, click on the downward-facing arrow next to the URL and select “Cached.” This option will open a cached version of the page, where you may find the deleted content still present.

  1. Unreddit

Unreddit works in a similar manner to Removeddit and Cedddit. Replace “reddit” in the URL with “unreddit” and you’ll be able to view any deleted content on the page. For example, change “https://www.reddit.com/r/example/post” to “https://www.unreddit.com/r/example/post”.

Conclusion:

Deleted Reddit posts and comments can hold valuable information or just pique your interest. By using these methods, such as Removeddit, Ceddit, Wayback Machine, Google Cache, or Unreddit, you can easily access content that has been removed from the platform. Keep in mind that respecting others’ privacy should always be the priority, so use these tools responsibly.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
