Harvard, Stanford, and MIT are not just names synonymous with academic excellence, they represent a level of selectivity that sets them apart from all other colleges. Year after year, these institutions consistently boast the lowest acceptance rates, making them the holy grail of higher education for countless aspiring students.

The reasons behind their exclusivity are multifaceted. Their reputation for academic rigor attracts the brightest minds from across the globe, leading to an overwhelming number of applications. The robust alumni networks, cutting-edge research facilities, and unparalleled access to influential individuals create an allure that is difficult to resist.

Moreover, these institutions are not just about academics. They meticulously curate student bodies based on diverse talents, interests, and experiences. They seek well-rounded individuals who will contribute to the campus community and make a lasting impact beyond graduation.

While the highly selective nature of these institutions raises concerns about accessibility and affordability, their commitment to fostering innovation and leadership remains undeniable. The graduates of Harvard, Stanford, and MIT are shaping industries, driving progress, and changing the world. Their dedication to excellence continues to inspire generations of aspiring students and reinforce their position as the most selective colleges in the world.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
