Spread the love

We all know that the best family vacation is one where your kids don’t get bored and that you have a great time with them. But what if you’re looking for something a little more exciting? You may have heard about most of these places in online travel guides, but they still seem off-the-radar destinations for most travelers. Here are some fascinating, fun things to do while on vacation with kids! If you’re expecting and planning a fun family trip, look no further than Miami. There are plenty of hotels and resorts in the area that all ages love, including these seven, offering fun things to do while on vacation with kids!

  1. Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort

Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort is a great place to visit with your family. It’s on the beach, and there are plenty of activities for kids to enjoy. The adults also get some perks, like being close to everything they need in Miami, including shopping and restaurants.

The pool at Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort is one of our favorite things about this resort! It’s enormous, has a swim-up bar on one side (perfect for adults), and even has an area where you can watch people surf while sipping your drink!

  1. Hawks Cay Resort

Hawks Cay Resort is a family-friendly resort located on a private island in Miami, FL. The resort is part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and has a private island called Hawk’s Cay. The rooms are all suites with marble bathrooms and Jacuzzi tubs. There are also two restaurants at Hawks Cay: one for dinner and one for breakfast.

The resort is only open for visits from December through April, so make reservations if you plan to visit during the summer. The hotel also has a private island called Hawk’s Cay.

The resort offers a variety of activities that are perfect for kids and families alike:

  • The kid’s club has daily activities like crafts and games
  • There are three pools on this property, two of which have water slides that kids can enjoy at any age
  1. The Breakers Palm Beach

The Breakers Palm Beach is a luxury resort located in the heart of Palm Beach, Florida. It has a great location and is perfect for families.

The Breakers Palm Beach features an array of activities that will keep you busy all day. There are several pools to swim in or relax by with your family members—the pool area even includes an adult-only area that can be reserved by adults only if you don’t want any children around when it’s time for some fun! The resort also offers children many activities, including playgrounds, mini golf courses, arts & crafts stations, and more!

If you are keen to experience something new but still enjoy being near civilization, consider staying at this property because it offers easy access from both Miami International Airport and Fort Lauderdale International Airport, making getting here quick and easy!

  1. South Seas Island Resort

South Seas Island Resort is a must-visit family-friendly resort located south of Miami, Florida. The island has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and memorable for everyone. There are plenty of kid-friendly amenities at this resort, including pool access, beach access, and plenty of activities for children (and their parents).

If you’re traveling with children who enjoy water sports or want to play in the sand, South Seas Island Resort will accommodate them with their private beachfront area, complete with a shallow pool and beachside lawn games area! You can also find plenty of activities perfect for younger kids, such as mini golf courses or roller coasters if they love riding things like go-carts on their own!

This place is perfect as there’s nothing else but peace & quiet everywhere. Enough options are available within walking distance, especially for parents who want to get away from crowds but still want an authentic experience while staying on an island resort where there aren’t many other tourists around during peak seasons, such as spring break time.

  1. The Atlantic Hotel & Spa

The Atlantic Hotel & Spa is a luxury resort located in the heart of the Hamptons on Long Island. The Atlantic offers a variety of luxurious accommodations, including suites, villas, and cottages.

The hotel’s spa offers treatments tailored to your needs (you can get facials with facial steam). If you’re interested in something more relaxing than that—or if your family has an upcoming wedding or special occasion—then consider booking one of their rooms with its private pool or terrace overlooking the ocean.

The Atlantic Hotel & Spa is a family-friendly resort. It offers a variety of activities for families to enjoy, and it has an outdoor pool, which is perfectly ideal for those hot summer days. There’s also a hot tub, so you can relax after swimming in the ocean or at another nearby beach!

The Atlantic Hotel & Spa has a kids club where children can play with other kids their age while on vacation. It’s great if your family likes doing things together as much as possible!

  1. PGA National Resort & Spa

PGA National Resort & Spa is an excellent choice for families looking to stay close to the beach but wanting to enjoy a resort’s relaxing and laid-back atmosphere. It features more than 200 rooms and suites, including:

  • Jacuzzi tub or shower (you can also combine some into larger units)
  • kitchenette with granite countertops
  • and a flat-screen TV with DVD player/DVD library access for guests’ use
  • patio or balcony access

The hotel also includes two swimming pools — one indoor/outdoor pool with waterfalls cascading down into koi ponds below; another adults-only whirlpool spa pool complete with a seating area overlooking ocean views.

The resort has a great golf course, family-friendly activities, and delicious food. The resort has two restaurants: Bice, an Italian restaurant located in the main building, and The Grill at PGA National Resort & Spa, which overlooks the 18th hole of the Grand Champions Course. The resort also offers an up-to-date fitness center with cardio equipment, weight machines, and free weights. The spa offers luxurious services for couples or moms with kids in tow.

  1. Loews Miami Beach

This resort is located on the beach and offers many amenities for families. There are two pools, one with an outdoor bar and grill, another with water slides, and a poolside bar. A kiddie pool also features three interactive waterslides for kids under age 8; adults can play in the adult slide area or relax on one of two whirlpools overlooking Biscayne Bay.

Loews Miami Beach offers 213 rooms across six different buildings—all with beautiful ocean views—with room names such as “Ocean Tower” or “Sun Deck.”

Rooms come equipped with:

  • refrigerators,
  • microwaves/convection ovens/stoves (some have double sinks),
  • hair dryers
  • some rooms have private balconies
  • irons/ironing boards (some rooms have clotheslines),
  • coffee makers/tea makers & more!

Amenities also include:

  • Wi-Fi access throughout the property;
  • complimentary DVD rentals every night at the reception;
  • late check-out until 4 pm Mon.-Fri.;
  • free parking within easy walking distance from the hotel entrance.

We hope we’ve given you some ideas of what to do and where to stay in Miami. If you’re longing for a relaxing getaway, then Breakers Palm Beach is a perfect choice. This luxurious resort has everything from indoor and outdoor pools to tennis courts and more! The Atlantic Hotel & Spa is another excellent option for families who want an affordable vacation without sacrificing quality.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
