Spread the love

Here is a list of our favorite all-time favorite classroom quotes

Be the leader in a school of fish.

Be a pineapple. Stand tall, wear a crown, and be sweet on the inside.

We have a ‘latte’ to be thankful for.

Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.

Would you still be beautiful if your words appeared on your skin?

I may not be there yet but I am closer than I was yesterday.

Even if hate has a bullhorn, love is louder.

Reading is love breathing in; writing is love breathing out.

Kind is the new cool.

If your dreams don’t scare you, they aren’t big enough.

None of us is as smart as all of us.

From small beginnings come great things.

Make today so incredible yesterday is jealous.

Look with kindness, and you will find wonder.

Be awesome, be unique, be you.

Today a reader, tomorrow, a leader.

Be somebody who makes everybody feel loved.

In a world where you can be anything, be kind.

You are loved.

Broken crayons still color.

This is where the fun stuff happens.

Sometimes the bravest and most important thing you can do is just show up.

In our class, we don’t do easy. We make it easy to happen through hard work and learning.

You’re here. You take up space. You matter.

Your voice matters.

Throw kindness, love confetti.

The earth without art is just eh.

Try again. Fail again. Fail better.

Never bend your head. Hold it high. Look the world in the eye.

Let’s root for each other and watch each other grow.

To have great friends, you need to be one.

Misfits we may be, but we will rewrite history.

The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.

Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right.

Be the reason someone smiles today.

All we have to decide is what to do with the time given to us.

Start with a smile.

You’re going to rattle the stars; you are.

If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you.

It’s a great day for a great day.

You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.

Everything you don’t know is something you can learn.

Mistakes help me learn better.

We may all be different fish, but at this school, we swim together.

Say what you mean but don’t say it mean.

You belong here.

You will never regret being kind.

Look closely at present you are constructing. It should look love the future you are dreaming.

Excellence is doing ordinary things extraordinarily well.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
