Are you searching for the perfect shorelines to have a very-needed rest from the noise and loudness of your day-to-day routine?

If so, go on one of the most wonderful shore holidays from Crystal River by experiencing the several seashores in the region.

The shores close to this seaside city are wonderful, giving you fascinating ocean sights, sweet white sand, various cool activities to do, and plenty of services to make your day visit more comforting and entertaining.

So, pack your suitcases and be prepared for a remarkable journey under the sunlight by checking out the list below of the most wonderful shores close to Crystal River, FL that I created particularly for you.

  1. Fort Island Gulf Beach — Crystal River

Fort Island Gulf Beach is one of the most famous shores in the Crystal River.

It is a shoreline that is suitable for families and the closest beach spot you can explore as it lies within the city.

Why We Recommend This Beach

If you are worried about your swimming skills or going with your small kids, the top shore for you to go to is Fort Island Gulf Beach.

It is the most wonderful shore to swim in and the most harmless shore for children due to its soft and narrow waters and with no unexpected drops.

Also, it hardly receives strong waves and flows, and there is a roped parts showing where the water is deep.

As one of the loveliest shores in the region, it includes a diamond-white sugary beach where you can do things like tanning, building sandcastles with your children, experiencing an oceanfront picnic and all kinds of cool games.

This seashore additionally includes many services for your comfort, like outside showers great for washing up after a hard day, covered picnic regions perfect for warm summer days, and hygienic bathrooms.

Expert Tip

Even though there aren’t plenty of lake beaches close by, Fort Island Gulf Beach includes a close river and a pier.

When at the pier, you can launch your water vehicles freely.

So, if you desire to go with your boat to enjoy a beautiful cruise on the ocean or the river, you might do so for free.

  1. Alfred McKethan Park Beach — Spring Hill

Alfred McKethan Park Beach is excellent for fast beach escapes from Crystal River, as it is less than 60 minutes away.

You can see this shoreline within Alfred A. McKethan Pine Island Park.

Why We Recommend This Beach

I extremely suggest going to Alfred McKethan Park Beach to experience one of the most unforgettable and cool weekend shore visits from Crystal River.

This fascinating seashore includes a sugary white-sand beach, tall palm trees, and outstanding views of the Gulf of Mexico.

It is excellent when searching for good shores to experience a wonderful day with your loved ones, family, or friends as you spend the day getting close to each other and creating new memories together.

Several activities you can appreciate doing here like playing a competitive game of sand volleyball, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, sunbathing, creating sculptures out of the sand, taking many photos together, and a lot more.

Alfred McKethan Park Beach has a boatload of amenities to make your trip more relaxing, such as showers, bathrooms, a playground on the sand, an observation deck, and picnic suites.

Expert Tip

If you’re not into packing a picnic, don’t worry because this shore near Crystal River has an on-the-spot cafe, Willy’s Tropical Breeze Cafe.

This cafe offers a large collection of fresh drinks and tasty dishes, like burgers, fresh seafood meals, chicken wings, and a lot more.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
