These kids' clubs not only entertain children but allow parents some much-needed downtime to relax by the pool or enjoy a spa treatment.

Dining Options: Family-friendly dining is another crucial aspect. Resorts like Disney’s Art of Animation have themed dining experiences that appeal to children, while also providing adult menu options. Buffets and all-you-can-eat options are popular, allowing families to find something for everyone's taste without the stress of ordering in a sit-down restaurant.

Pools and Water Features: Orlando's warm climate means that pool facilities are a significant draw for families. Resorts such as the Grove Resort feature expansive water parks with slides and splash pads, perfect for a day of family fun without leaving the property. These water attractions provide a safe environment for kids to play while parents can relax nearby.

Location: Proximity to Attractions

The location of a resort can greatly impact a family's experience. Staying close to theme parks and attractions reduces travel time and allows for more flexibility in daily plans.

Resorts like Loews Sapphire Falls and Disney’s Polynesian Village are not only themed but also strategically located to provide easy access to major parks. Families can enjoy the convenience of being just a short drive or shuttle ride away from the excitement of Universal Studios or the magic of Disney.

Transportation: Many resorts offer complimentary shuttle services to and from the parks, which can be a significant benefit for families who prefer not to navigate traffic or parking. This convenience allows families to maximize their time at the parks, ensuring they can enjoy everything Orlando has to offer.

Seasonal Events: Enhancing the Family Experience

Orlando is known for its seasonal events and activities that cater to families throughout the year. Many resorts take advantage of these events to create special experiences for guests.

Holiday Celebrations: During the holiday season, resorts like the Grand Floridian host festive celebrations with themed decorations, special dining options, and family activities. These experiences allow families to create lasting memories while enjoying the magic of the holidays in a unique setting.

Summer Activities: In the summertime, many resorts organize family-friendly activities such as movie nights by the pool, water sports, and interactive games. These events encourage families to bond and enjoy their time together in a relaxed atmosphere.

Conclusion: A Family Adventure Awaits

Choosing the right resort for a family trip to Orlando can make all the difference in creating unforgettable memories. With diverse options ranging from budget-friendly to luxury accommodations, families can find the perfect fit that meets their needs and preferences. Whether seeking thrilling adventures at theme parks or relaxing days by the pool, Orlando's family-friendly resorts offer something for everyone. Each hotel and resort is designed to ensure that families can enjoy their time together, creating lasting experiences that will be cherished for years to come.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
