For those of you who are looking for an all-inclusive family vacation, Cancun is the place to be. There are so many beautiful hotels in Cancun that you will find something for everyone! We have compiled a list of some of the best family resorts in Cancun so that you can find your perfect vacation home.

  1. Moon Palace Cancun

Moon Palace Cancun is a family-friendly property located in the heart of Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Guests can enjoy all that southern Mexico offers without worrying about driving or finding transportation; relax and enjoy the views!

The resort offers rooms with an ocean view, which means you’ll be able to see both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans from your balcony or terrace. Oceanfront villas are also available for those who prefer spending more time outside their room than inside it (or if you have small children).

Each room has air conditioning and ceiling fans so that you can rest easy during those hot summer months at this beachfront resort. If guests need access to Wi-Fi while they’re away from home, they’ll want one of these rooms! And if not? Well, maybe we should talk about how much fun it was when we went here last year because now we know why everyone loves going back again every year.

  1. Hyatt Ziva Cancun

The Hyatt Ziva Cancun has a great location with a fantastic beach, and the kids will love the water park. The resort is enormous and spread out, but it’s easy to get around on foot.

The resort offers all-inclusive amenities, including food and drinks at all restaurants on the property (and some outside) and room service 24 hours per day. Kids under three years old stay free at most resorts in Mexico. However, suppose you want your kids to eat at one of the restaurants or enjoy other amenities available to adults only. In that case, you’ll need to pay for them separately (this is true for any other resort we list here too).

  1. Royal Solaris Cancun

Royal Solaris is a family-friendly resort with a fantastic waterpark. If you’re traveling with kids, this is the place to go.

Royal Solaris has tons of activities for kids (and adults!), including:

  • Water slides tower that has five areas to slide through! Nobody can tell how many times you will get wet!
  • A lazy river where even the biggest kids can float along at their own pace while enjoying their favorite songs on repeat or playing games with their friends.
  • Indoor pool with two hot tubs and an adult-only area so everyone in your party can enjoy some relaxation time together without having to worry about other guests around them being loud or bothering them too much during their stay at Royal Solaris Cancun Resort & All Inclusive Villas.
  1. Panama Jack Resorts Cancun

Panama Jack Resorts Cancun is a family-friendly resort located in Cancun. The resort has a water park and a kids club. The hotel boasts an all-inclusive beachfront property with luxurious accommodations, fine dining experiences, and an array of entertaining activities throughout your stay. Panama Jack resorts ensure long-lasting, enjoyable vacation memories for your whole family.

  1. All Ritmo Cancun Resort & Waterpark

All Ritmo Cancun Resort and Waterpark is in the Riviera Maya. It’s a prominent place to stay if you expect an all-inclusive resort that offers water parks and other services like restaurants and bars. The hotel has 468 rooms, ranging from family suites (with two bedrooms) to junior suites (with one bedroom).

  1. Crown Paradise Club Cancun

This family resort is an excellent choice for perfect vacations, but it’s not for the faint of heart. Crown Paradise Club Cancun has only 837 rooms and is on the smaller side. The rooms are spacious and clean, with balconies overlooking the ocean or pool area (if you choose). Your kids will love having their TV in their room, extra pillows, and comfy beds!

The resort has a large pool area with multiple water slides for adults and children. It also features an adventure course with climbing walls and swings that make it fun for everyone of all ages! There’s even an arcade room where kids can play games while Mommy reads her book under an umbrella overlooking Playa del Carmen Beach—a beautiful spot next door!

  1. Seadust Cancun Family Resort

Seadust Cancun Family Resort is on the beach in Cancun, Mexico. It offers an array of amenities that make it one of the best all-inclusive family resorts in Cancun.

The resort features three pools with waterslides and whirlpools for adults and children alike; each has a bar for guests to enjoy drinks while relaxing or enjoying activities such as volleyball or playing cards. A beachfront restaurant also serves snacks and meals such as burgers, burritos, and tacos! Two children’s clubs are at each end (one for ages 2-6 and another for ages 7-14). These clubs offer activities like arts & crafts, games room, gymnasiums, and much more! If you endure something more exciting than hanging out at the poolside, head to the water park or go shopping at shops selling everything from souvenirs to clothing brands like Mexicana Lingerie (which sells sexy lingerie sets).

  1. IBEROSTAR Cancun

The IBEROSTAR Cancun is the most luxurious resort on this list, but it’s also one of the most expensive. That said, we can’t help but recommend it—it’s a great location, and its family-friendly amenities make it feel like more than just another all-inclusive hotel.

The IBEROSTAR Cancun has three pools: one beachfront pool with a swim-up bar; a kids’ pool with waterslides and games; and an adults-only pool that has cabanas for relaxing in when you need some quiet time away from your family or friends (the ambiance at these cabanas is pretty nice). On top of those three pools are two water parks: one for toddlers up to age ten, known as Aquadreams Splash Park, and another area called Aquapark Playground which features slides and other attractions suitable for children ages 5+.

Several dining options are available at every mealtime—you can choose from five restaurants, including mainly:

  • Mexican cuisine (like fish tacos)
  • Italian favorites like carbonara pasta dishes with salad greens instead of potatoes because they don’t want anyone getting bored eating all day long during the vacationing season here in Mexico City
  • or maybe even better yet – why not try something different like Asian food? We’ve heard good things about these places before.

So hopefully, we’ve convinced ourselves enough times since first visiting them back when our kids were little ones themselves! The best part about having access through special wristbands instead if purchasing tickets ahead online ahead online

  1. Royalton Riviera Cancun

Royalton Riviera Cancun is a luxury resort located in Cancun, Mexico. The resort has an attractive beachfront location and offers guests the chance to enjoy their time at this resort by spending time on the beach or enjoying some exciting water activities.

The hotel features several bars and restaurants, including a poolside bar serving daily happy hours from 5 pm to 8 pm and other special events throughout the week. There are also three bars inside its main lobby where you can order drinks during your stay!

Royalton Riviera Cancun also has an excellent water park called Aquaventure which includes:

  • two waterslides for adults (one white water slide & one blue)
  • two children’s pools with slides that are suitable for all ages, from toddlers to teenagers alike
  • one zero-depth entry pool featuring a swim-up bar service
  • hot tubs, showers, changing rooms

Hence, you will enjoy every basic amenity when visiting this tropical paradise!

  1. Finest Playa Mujeres

Finest Playa Mujeres is a family-friendly resort that offers a wide range of activities for adults, couples, and children. The resort’s water park has waves, slides, and other attractions to keep everyone busy. If you’re looking for something more relaxing, several pools are available at the all-inclusive property.

The resort’s beachfront location just steps away from some of Cancun’s best restaurants, bars, and nightclubs in downtown Puerto Morelos (a short walk away). Finest Playa Mujeres is ideal for those who want to spend their days on the beach but still want access to great food and drinks after dark!

We hope this list of Cancun family resorts has helped you search for a vacation destination. There are so many different options, so do your research before booking! If you have any questions about our recommended hotels or resorts, feel free to reach out, and we would be happy to help!

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
