Who says having fun in Myrtle Beach requires spending a fortune?

Family vacations don’t have to be too expensive, as shown by these resorts in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, that isn’t too pricey.

Despite being cheap, these resorts still have a ton of features and amenities for families.

So be sure to read our reviews of cheap family resorts if you’re visiting Myrtle Beach on a tight budget.

  1. Inn at Myrtle Beach

The resort at Myrtle Beach is where we always stay when we want to keep our family’s expenses low.

This oasis is not only reasonably priced, but it’s also one of the top family-friendly hotels in Myrtle Beach.

Children will love exploring the lazy river and two indoor and four outdoor pools there.

Additionally, it provides children with seasonal activities, such as the exciting playground and water park.

The resort’s sauna or steam room is a great place for parents to relax and escape the city’s hustle and bustle.

They will also take advantage of the resort’s five hot tubs, four tennis courts, and two fitness centers.

This budget-friendly family resort is situated close to the beach.

In fact, Ocean Lakes Campground and Myrtle Beach State Park are both close by.

  1. Bigelow ‘Shores

The Grande Shores is a wonderful, exciting beachfront resort that is affordable.

Furthermore, it has roomy suites that can accommodate big families.

For instance, their Deluxe Two-Room Suite can accommodate up to 12 adult guests.

While you stay at this resort, let your kids go on a wet and wild adventure.

In addition to its kiddie pool, the resort also has two lazy rivers and three swimming pools.

They’ll probably enjoy hanging out in your room or suite when they’re not swimming because of the fun amenities like cable television and limitless free DVD rentals.

The Seventieth Avenue Shopping Center is about a kilometer from the resort, which is in a great location.

  1. Hotel Dayton House

Dayton House Resort is a constant favorite of ours.

It provides a fantastic and relaxing stay for everyone, with direct beach access and family-friendly amenities.

Additionally, it offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.

The resort’s outdoor lazy river is the perfect place for you and your kids to unwind.

As an alternative, you could relax on a lounge chair with some snacks and beverages while watching your kids swim in the pool.

After all, that swimming, treat your kids’ taste buds to some delectable American cuisine at the Rose Room.

There are many wonderful Myrtle Beach attractions all around the resort as well.

Myrtle Beach SkyWheel and the Children’s Museum of South Carolina are favorites.

  1. Breakers Resort Hotel

The Breakers is an absolute godsend for those who are looking for cheap oceanfront kid-friendly hotels in Myrtle Beach.

This resort, which is situated along the well-known Grand Strand, entices tourists and families with its alluring amenities.

The vibrant water park is perfect for kids to unwind and have fun.

We heartily endorse their 400-foot lazy river and play area themed after a pirate ship.

The resort has several dining options, including Papa’s Restaurant and Strong Waters Craft Cocktails & Kitchen.

The resort also has a Starbucks cafe and a Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream shop.

The resort provides quick access to Family Kingdom Amusement Park and is situated close to the action.

  1. Sandpiper Bay Resort

This budget resort holds many happy memories for our kids.

The resort can keep your kiddos entertained for days with a host of family-friendly on-site amenities.

It’s also a unique option for anyone looking for cheap family suites in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, because the rooms are large.

It’s one of the top resorts in Myrtle Beach, in my opinion, for family gatherings.

You and your group can take advantage of the family-friendly features and activities offered here, including the pools, lazy river, and barbecue facilities.

The three-bedroom suites there can sleep up to 12 adults, which is the best part.

The resort’s convenient location is an additional plus.

The Fanta Sea Wheels and the Family Kingdom Amusement Park are both close to the resort, which is very convenient.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
