Geometry Teaching and Learning Apps That You Will Love

Are you searching for geometry products that you can use with your learners? Check out the definitive list that we made. Who did we miss?

Apollonius– This responsive geometry application enables you to make drawings similar to those you can make with a ruler and compass. The drawings can be moved around and manipulated, allowing the user to discover the relationship between the objects. The user interface is designed for touch screen devices, which makes it a particularly immersive geometry product.

Beyond Cats! Kindergarten Math– Winner of the “Editor’s Choice Award” from the prestigious Kids’ Tech Review. The product can be utilized throughout the school year to teach numbers and geometry to your kindergartener. The product contains a variety of question forms and even more ways to provide answers.

Todo Math– Designed for learners aged 3-8 to practice math abilities, Todo Math has over 700 activities. There are daily math challenges, skill-based math missions, and comprehension quizzes. Todo Math focused on counting and cardinality, number operations, mathematical reasoning, time and money, and geometry. To ensure that Todo Math is as accessible as possible, it has a dyslexic function, left-handed mode, and eight language options. To encourage engagement, the product contains a reward system where learners collect monsters to win prizes and reach higher levels.

Montessori Geometry –- Recognize and learn shapes – This product teaches kids how to recognize and name geometric shapes. The game consists of puzzles designed to teach children the names of different shapes. As learners progress, they earn points, which are converted into medals.

CanFigureIt Geometry – This product teaches learners to work through geometric proofs with or without provided information. It offers numerous options for learners, ranging from typing in choices to choosing one of the different preset theorems available. Helpful tips are found throughout the game so learners do not get stuck. It replaces passive involvement by allowing learners to participate actively while learning to solve geometric proofs. Educators monitor learners on the educator’s dashboard.

Math Cats – Math Cats uses math exploration and suggestion tools to teach math and engage children in other interactive activities. The interface is designed with cats to attract the attention of young children who tend to love cats. Math Cats is divided into interactive sections that focus on different aspects of math, such as geometry and probability. Users also have access to content submitted by other users.

Lifeliqe – This learning product educates learners with the use of 3-D models, augmented reality, and virtual reality. It contains studies such as biology, culture, physics, paleontology, geometry, and so on. There are 620 preinstalled lesson plans for different studies. The interface of this product is quite easy to navigate. Lifeliqe is available as a website and product with its implementations on iPad and Windows, showing the most functionality.

DragonBox Elements – Geometry – This puzzle-based game is designed to teach geometry.  The game is designed such that users’ activities are aimed at defeating a monster plaguing a tower. The game is divided into seven chapters featuring a series of challenging puzzles at each level; as children solve the puzzles, they progress in the game and learn geometric concepts simultaneously.

Shapes 3D Geometry Drawing–This product enables you to sketch line segments, cross-sections within 3-D shapes, and pivot solids to access a better view and detect what you can build inside them. You can peruse 27 shapes, effortlessly rotate solids and examine their properties, sketch line segments across two points, make cross-sections, and 2-D shapes within the solids. This product also enables you to detect vertices, edges, and faces.

CK-12- Assists learners and educators to enhance elementary learning worldwide by making personal education tools available. Learn more than 5,000 math and science topics at a speed that suits you. Math topics include arithmetic, measurement, algebra, geometry, probability, statistics, trigonometry, and calculus. Science studies include geography, life science, physical science, biology, chemistry, and physics. Other studies include SAT exam prep, engineering, tech, astronomy, English, and history.

Arloon: Geometry– Learners can study geometry in 3-D using augmented reality. This new approach lets learners enhance their spatial awareness of geometric figures. They can view geometry figures from multiple angles and strengthen their geometry knowledge base.

Moose Math– Created for any 3-8 year-old, Moose Math takes your kid on a math adventure where they will have fun and learn. There are five activities in different locations around town. Hit up the Moose Juice Store to practice addition and subtraction, Puck’s Pet Shop to learn sorting, or the Lost & Found to get a better hang of geometry. This product’s Dust Funnies and Duck Duck Moose characters will help your kid master math and crush Common Core Standards. There is even an option for guardians or educators to receive a report card to track kids’ progress.

GeoGebra– GeoGebra comes with a practical interface and many features that help you make, modify, and share math simulations and models. It has advanced math software that combines tables, graphing, geometry, algebra, calculus, and statistics in a free practical package. The product also comes with free and open source software; it has received many educational software awards in the US and Europe.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
