Eureka College, a renowned liberal arts institution, has made a bold move towards sustainable and cost-effective printing by ditching its traditional laser printer fleet in favor of Epson’s advanced inkjet business print solutions. This innovative shift reflects the college’s commitment to both environmental responsibility and financial efficiency.

The transition to Epson’s inkjet technology brings several significant advantages. Firstly, Epson’s business inkjet printers offer exceptional print quality, catering to the high-demand needs of a college environment. From detailed research papers to vibrant marketing materials, the high-resolution output ensures professional-grade results.

Secondly, Epson’s inkjets are designed for lower running costs compared to traditional laser printers. This translates to significant savings on consumables, ultimately benefiting the college’s budget. Epson’s EcoTank models, with their refillable ink tanks, further amplify these savings, significantly reducing the need for frequent ink cartridge replacements.

Beyond the financial benefits, Epson’s inkjet solutions align with Eureka College’s environmental values. The EcoTank technology minimizes waste generation by utilizing less plastic and reducing the need for disposable cartridges. Furthermore, Epson’s commitment to sustainable practices throughout its production process resonates with the college’s sustainability goals.

This strategic decision demonstrates Eureka College’s forward-thinking approach to technology adoption. By embracing Epson’s advanced inkjet business print solutions, the college has secured a printing infrastructure that balances quality, efficiency, and environmental responsibility. This innovative move sets a strong example for other institutions seeking to optimize their printing operations while prioritizing sustainability.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
