Algebra Teaching and Learning Apps That You Will Love

Are you searching for algebra products that you can use with your learners? Check out the definitive list that we made. Who did we miss?

Algebrator– Using Algebrator’s step-by-step explanations of the answers to even the most challenging math problems, learners can learn to solve homework problems in a way that is easy to understand. Algebrator can be utilized by guardians, adult learners, and homeschoolers to improve their math abilities.

CK-12– Assists learners and educators in enhancing elementary learning worldwide by making personal education tools available. Learn more than 5,000 math and science topics at a speed that suits you. Math topics include arithmetic, measurement, algebra, geometry, probability, statistics, trigonometry, and calculus. Science studies include geography, life science, physical science, biology, chemistry, and physics. Other studies include SAT exam prep, engineering, tech, astronomy, English, and history.

DigitWhiz– This product helps children from ages eight upward learn fundamental math and pre-algebra abilities. It uses games to teach children multiplication, division, and integer operation. Children earn points as they play the game. It also has a multiplayer option where children can play with other children from all over the world.

DimensionU– DimensionU motivates children to learn pre-algebra via fun, educational, and rewarding video games. It helps children master fundamental abilities that will make them good pre-algebra learners. DimensionU may give children examples that seem too advanced for their grade to help them master pre-algebra math.

DragonBox Algebra 5+ – This is a fun and educational introduction for a young kid learning to solve math and algebra problems. The game has a simple user interface that can be operated by kids from the age of 5. They learn so much at a pace that suits them without even realizing that they are learning.

Elevated Math– This product provides fundamental lessons on math topics ranging from place value to large number addition and algebra I. It covers about two years of math learning and works on iPads and iPhones. It comes free with two lectures and a video about career choices; additional lessons are available for purchase. This product does not support commercial uses.

First In Math– The game-style activities ensure that learners engage in active practice needed for skill retention; they are motivated using electronic award stickers when they solve questions correctly.

GeoGebra– GeoGebra comes with a practical interface and many features that help you make, modify, and share math simulations and models. It has advanced math software that merges tables, graphing, geometry, algebra, calculus, and statistics in a free practical package. The product also comes with free and open-source software; it has received many educational software awards in the US and Europe.

Giraffe Cards Flashcards– This math flashcard product helps your kids learn multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction. This product was made to allow children to learn math without distraction. The flashcards are straightforward and include great practice exercises; the product can easily be customized from simple to complex math facts such as Algebra “Magic Number” cards. The product comes with no ads or other distractions.

Hands-On Equations– is the algebra product for 8-year-old children. Learning algebra can be difficult, but Hands-On Equations 1 makes it fun and interesting for your children. The product helps to clarify difficult algebraic concepts by putting the iPad’s and iPhone’s visual and touch features into good use.

Math Snacks– With many unique activities, animations, games, and tools, Math Snacks will help teach numbers, ratios, proportions, factoring, and pre-algebra. This is the perfect addition to elementary or middle school classes to add extra learning fun. It has been made with Common Core Standards and Mathematical Practices in mind to reinforce what is taught in the class while preparing kids for tests.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
