Teenagers can be a complex and demanding crowd to please on the road.

However, the Valley of the Sun is home to many exciting opportunities that will put a smile on any adolescent’s face.

The desert metropolis teems with things to see and do, from theme parks to outdoor excursions, that are perfect for entertaining and occupying your teenagers.

Find out what to do in Phoenix with your adolescent by reading our helpful guide.

  1. Salt River Rafting

Participating in a Salt River Rafting tour is a great way to inject excitement into a family vacation.

While the rapids may look intimidating, the tour is risk-free and fun.

And there are quiet spots to sit and take in the view.

Experience the excitement of the Salt River’s class III rapids on a half-day tour.

This exciting, wet, and wild adventure is the ideal summertime tour, passing by desert flora and red rock canyons that are perfect for Instagram.

A child should be at least 9 to participate in this outdoor activity.

  1. Stellar Adventures

Stellar Adventures offers some of the best-guided tours in the Sonoran Desert.

They provide a variety of exciting desert activities for families, such as ATV tours and stargazing.

Take the company’s ATV tour of the Sonoran Desert for a thrilling experience.

You’ll see many exciting and beautiful places on this thrilling journey.

Additionally, your guides will provide insightful information about the desert’s topography, flora, and fauna.

Teenagers aged 15 and up are the target demographic for these excursions.

  1. Castles N’ Coasters

Your children will be delighted by the abundance of exciting activities available at Castles N’ Coasters.

Your teenagers will be so engrossed in the park’s thrilling rides and attractions that they won’t even think about checking their phones.

Spend quality time with your adolescent while they enjoy the bumper boats, arcade, mini golf, and mind-blowing thrill rides available.

Visit attractions like Splashdown Falls, Sky Diver, and Sky Wire zip line for a thrilling and entertaining time.

Kids of all ages, from toddlers to preteens, will enjoy Castles N’ Coaster.

  1. Arizona Falls

Discovering Arizona Falls in the Phoenix area is like finding a hidden gem, and it’s a great place to take a teen.

This 20-foot drop in the Arizona Canal is perfect for your Instagram-obsessed teen.

Arizona Falls is the perfect place to cool off from the scorching sun.

The attraction’s modern features and decor could inspire your kid’s inner photographer.

And signs and plaques explain the space’s background and purpose to visitors.

When visiting Phoenix, take the kids to Arizona Falls.

  1. Epic Escape Game

The Epic Escape Game is fascinating, and we can’t get enough of it.

This is a fantastic activity for the whole family to enjoy together.

Furthermore, I believe it improves your teens’ ability to work together and communicate effectively.

Choose the Asylum Room if you want a memorable stay with the kids.

This game is perfect for novices and teenagers because it is not overly challenging but requires substantial mental effort.

Try your hand at the terrifyingly complex Blood Thirst escape room.

Visitors over the age of 18 are recommended for this attraction.

  1. K1 Speed

K1 Speed is undoubtedly among the top picks among the many great teen-friendly activities in Phoenix.

Teens can spend hours here without checking their phones thanks to the track, arcade, and electric go-karts.

You and your teenagers will get a rush from racing the go-karts in K1 Speed.

You’ve just completed the race and have earned some time to unwind with a snack.

Alternately, you can take your teenagers to K1 Speed to play arcade games.

A child’s age should be at least 9 to play K1 Speed.

  1. Hole In The Rock

Nothing beats a trip to Hole In The Rock to get your teenagers excited about hiking and the outdoors.

It’s a quick and straightforward distance of only 0.50 miles.

The views are breathtaking, and that’s saying a lot.

The 20-minute hike boasts Instagram-worthy views that will appeal to teenagers.

Sunset is the best time to take truly stunning pictures there.

And don’t forget to stop and smell the roses!

I think teenagers and kids of all ages would enjoy the short hike to Hole In The Rock.

  1. Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix

The Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix is a must-see for teenagers visiting Phoenix because of its exciting rides and bright colors.

Let your teenagers enjoy the park’s massive wave pool to escape the scorching desert’s scorching heat.

After that, they can ride the water dueling coaster, which defies the laws of gravity by taking riders uphill across more than 800 feet of dizzying turns and drops.

Rides and attractions at the park are appropriate for kids of varying ages.

  1. Musical Instrument Museum

At any of Phoenix’s many museums, kids will have a hard time staying still.

Kids can get their fill of music at the Musical Instrument Museum, which features thousands of instruments and hours of interactive exhibits.

Come to the museum’s events, such as its lectures, concerts, special exhibits, and workshops.

The artist gallery, which features today’s hottest teen-favorite musicians like Taylor Swift, will also be a big hit with the target audience.

The Musical Instrument Museum is a fantastic place to take kids of all ages.

  1. Desert Ridge Marketplace

It’s safe to say that among Arizona’s shopping centers, Desert Ridge Marketplace is the most teen-friendly option.

This mall is the best place to take the kids in the city for food, fun, and retail therapy.

Take your teenagers shopping at Hot Topic, Wet Seal, Old Navy, or Kohls for some much-needed retail therapy.

The mall has a lot of cool stuff for teenagers to do, like an AMC theater and a Dave and Buster’s arcade.

The mall is fun for families with children of all ages.

  1. Phoenix Ghost Tours

A Phoenix Ghost Tour is unlike any other.

Discover the dark history of Phoenix as you travel to some of the city’s most haunted locations on this one-of-a-kind guided tour.

It’s a fantastic and entertaining way to learn about the city’s past.

Beginning with some background on the Orpheus Theatre’s storied past, the tour gets underway.

The tour continues with a stroll through downtown Phoenix, where the expert guide will tell tales of ghostly encounters and haunted spots.

The guide will also provide suggestions for fun things to do in Phoenix with teenagers.

Teens aged 15 and up are welcome on tour.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
